My Solution is the GTB still make's immunity to all effects, but it block all magic Attacks by 50%. The Players who want old GTb and the people who play Magic Classes get a chance to Block btw to Attack people with their Skills.

Forsaken King's Shield = 20% Less Damage from DemiHuman + 60% Less Damage from Magical Attacks total out to 80%. Let's keep making a higher estimate then... 60 + 20 + 10 + 10 = 100% correct? you won't be immune but you'd take in shit damage. 10% from Combat Knives 10% from Poopoo Hat / Feather Beret / Beret 20% from Forsaken King's Shield[1] 60% from a modified GTB. May a GM check that out with a HW of 300+110 Int ( Int Belts ) and tell me the outcome. Let me add there are various elemental armors and cards that endow the armor with elements.

That wouldn't be much of a hassle since the gears focus completely towards defending. Not to mention any melee class could come by and kill you and nobody would want to drop their FK Helm or NYH for a poopoo.

Dave Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Why does everyones idea about GTB have to have it block effects?,they are part of the game learn to get around them there are cards that help already with most effects,just because people cant be arsed to swop cards to get the immunity from things is no reason to add imunity to everything on the server to GTB.

You won't wanna die like in PvP in just 10seconds don't you? Afaik, only GTB Card stops Coma status and I don't recall playing a private server where a working GTB Card doesn't block Coma/Stone Curse.
Dave Posted May 23, 2008 Report Posted May 23, 2008 Ok you say 195 att speed+ coma,why not lower the att speed? 180/5, or nerf the items that inflict coma,there are plenty of other ways to solve this problem without adding the immunity to GTB. Also GTB has never blocked any status effect,it only blocks what gets added to the script the original script for the card doesnt block status ailments. Just another thought,if everyone wants immunity to coma ,why not just add a new card that gives just that,instead of making one card do everything.

Also, I would never know if it really didn't block Coma/Petrification like what you said since this is the first server I played where GTB is working/easy to get.

Then someone can spam Jupitel Thunder rapidly with 2 Kiels or a Ninja with 2 Kiels and would make that 50% block useless.
