jaycee11 Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 why wen i play d game there is so much lag... I can't play very easily... I came from legacyRO... I just downloaded the patch for forsakenRO and installed it in the folder of Legacy...
Defiance Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 The thing is, to ensure that you can play another RO smoothly, you'd have to make a new and clean install first. Reinstall kRO then Sakray, then finally the patch for ForsakenRO. Those steps are the basic procedures for installation that would definitely help you avoid unnecessary errors from the game. If the lag still persist, maybe its your connection and location.
GodspeedXIII Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Here's another tip. Close all background programs by running the task manager, choose "end task" for all programs that is tagged by your username except taskmgr.exe and explorer.exe, sometimes it'll notify you that you don't have firewall on but ignore it. If you're going back to using browser again, I recommend re-login windowss so all the security programs are all back. It helped my lag greatly.

Sensation Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 Distance matters too, it's almost impossible to make it totally smooth for everyone. It's an international server, but we'll do our best to solve the minor problems. Anyway, welcome to Forsaken RO.

I just downloaded the patch for forsakenRO and installed it in the folder of Legacy... Installing ForsakenRO in your legacyro folder is probably what's causing some of the trouble. As some have mentioned, try a fresh install. Ditch all of Legacy, & ditch forsakenRO and start from scratch. Maybe some disk cleanups n' stuff might be in store too? Or disconnecting and reconnecting your internet? There are a million things that could cause it, even the distance you are from the particular server.
