How did you end up here on ForsakenRO?

Mm well let's see... well first off I was playing another server, and some people on my MSN who used to play it kept on bugging me to play it. Like Mike, Pat, and some other people.. can't exactly remember. But yeah, I made it just in time to play the first day it came out! :]

Originally, in my high school years, I played in the legit ThaiRO server and remembered going only as far as a lv85 assassin (High class was not implemented). Leveling is boring as hell, and the community was sickening...people would KS-loot you and go "so weak lol" at least once per leveling session, accounts are hacked at alarming rate. And in fluent leveling maps, you can expect 80+ bots. People are using real money to buy pixels at insane exchange rate (Imagine having to sell a fashionable cellphone for ONE MVP card) though I was not one of them.

A pacifist like me existed only for one purpose: to be bullied. My grades dropped and I can feel no fun anymore in ThaiRO even though I was addicted to it like crack...I have to buy airtime and costed me plenty, too. So one day I just quitted, cold turkey.

After 5-year absence, in fact I still like RO, but not its tedious leveling and its dystopian society, so I was looking for a place to play RO without spending months just leveling away. I could've ended up in a superhigh rate, but I washed ashore here, a top-ranker server. The balance and challenge here is just perfect (PvM-wise). If I want a 15000x/15000x/15000x server, I could just play eAthena myself.

K; I was in the nlRO forums after getting help getting rid of a corrupt GM which then banned most of my forum accounts, so then I wanted one back and the gay corrupt GMs there didn't let me get it back and then they framed/banned Genesis from the forums so while I was just flaming people everywhere Genesis used a proxy to get back in and PM'd me asking for my MSN. I asked why? and he PM'd me the next day to trust him. So I gave him my MSN. Then all of a sudden he told me about his project ( fRO ) and I offered to help him then on it in any way I could. Thus I joined the server and to this day try to help him regardless of how perfect his server is already going.

i ended up here because the server where i use to play to sucks they only do events for like once a month + they cant even solve a simple scam problem and the scammers are not punished =(

I started on a little LR named LOR because of my best friend. I played slowly and was really noob. Then a real life situation got my friend really pissed. She harassed me, nuked me for no reason then banned all my chars one by one. I managed to make a new account and xfer all my shit to that sage before she banned my knight. She found me out and I char hopped forever. The server got wiped and then no one played after that.

I quit for a while because my ex broke up with me and my ex best friend was a real bitch to me irl. When felt I wanted to play again I browsed Ragnarok top 200 and found DarkRO. I liked their page and donations so I joined. I met an LK names Beefcake in E x i l e guild. I got invited to the guild and a shot but wonderful time ensued. Our alliance Cruel Intentions and Placebo had a few nasty ppl. The worst two were two girls, one a GM one a police. I tried making friends with them and they called me an attention whore and stuff. One of them thought I was flirting with her bf and she blew up on me, called me cunt slut whore bitch you name it.

When I eventually fought back against their tyranny I got IP and char banned. My bf begged the main GM to let me back on for an hour, which he finally did. But he forgot to re IP ban me (i was on my bf's HP) I decided to let him know, and I got re banned for my honesty. That was the end of DarkRO for me. I was badly hurt from it all and it definitely changed me. But I met my Ricky there and had a wonderful couple of months with my guild. I'm grateful for that.

I still was bent on ro, but it wasn't the right time. Instead of taking a break me and Ricky server skipped. We made Exile on so many low rates. And each one was shit to us. None of them were like before. Then I got so frustrated I stopped trying. When I got bored I wanted to play again. And I decided HR because it's more relazed. I lost two mazed out chars and fantastic gear. I wasn't ready to do that again. I was trying to pick between three HR. I picked forsaken because my first choice wouldn't Download.

That's my story. For being a game, Ragnarok sure changed me.

Then I clicked fRO, IT WORKED!! Out of all Servers I tried to download, only Forsaken RO worked. I guess it was meant to be that I would play this server. xD

started on iRO, paying to play /hiss

found a wonderful invention called _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

used it too many times, got 1 of my many accounts banned .... teehee

GM's were ignorant but not completely lacking sense, threatened my other accounts.... so i quit.

server hop'd a few times

found quite a few good servers ..... and they all shutdown ... 1 shutdown a week after some1 invited me to it LOL

tried aRO it was awesome

until the main admin/GM fell ill and something happened .. other GM's took over ran it into the ground ,imo

AND THEN i remembered that wonderful invention (ONLY TO BE USED ON LOW RATE SERVERS) <--LOL

put it to use on (omit)RO lol got banned

but i only played there cuz Double Blades Of Fury(mike) wanted me to do his dirty work

and then another server that fell under.. qRO :( .. i liked that one ...

FINALLY mike found ForbiddenRO lol at least thats what i called it before i saw/heard

about ForsakenRO (WTF, i said, isn't this forbiddenRO? .... stupid noob its both /geez)

loved the rate loved the pvp action LOVED the PK aspect LOVED that GTB worked the way it was intended

my past server has closed for some player troubles (99% of the time was dedicated to flames,,, ._. ,,,in game and forum,,,),,,

then i've search a good moderate HR, then here i am,,,

i've seen the server have potential and i've decided to stay here, play and help the community to grow up and make funniest the game play side,,,

oh, another great thing was the PK aspect,,,i was into a little server so not much ppl was active PvP,,,here i've found PvP into all the maps,,,was like a dream,,, lol (please re-enable the PK on maps!!! x3 )

Agreed!! When I played ThaiRO server,the person that play my char was not me.It's a Bot. LoL.

I play this server because It's easy to lvl to maximum level[1 day worth] and friendly GM around. /meow

Was looking for a free and fun MMORPG. Played Endless, Maplestory, then FlyFF. Maple was fucking addciting. Then my friend told me to, "drop that crap and play this shit." So, yay fRO! o:

Hmm.. how far back should I start?

First.. let me tell ya.. this is a very interesting topic. It was definitely a good idea.

Second.. I like some of the stories posted earlier.

Finally.. let me get to my story:

Uhm... I played on a couple of different RO servers before this including iRO.

However.. I stopped. I got bored of it. Honestly, I did. Many people I knew quit. Real life friends stopped playing as well.

Pretty soon... I was the only "veteran" in the server.

GM'ing was lame by then because:

1) I could hardly understand other languages since apparently after some time the server appealed to everyone but English-speaking people.

2) Some GMs became corrupt.

I was just bored of it. So I resigned. Then quit RO altogether.

[unknown Amount] of time later, some friends bugged me about a server they put up.

That lasted a good month.

I stopped RO again.

Then.. I eventually.. got more involved with school and sports.

I thought I'd never look back.

But... one day... I just had this "craving" to play an online game.

And everyone.. I mean everyone who is anyone.. goes back to their roots.

My root = Ragnarok.

... I kinda like Mid~Rate.

... I hate Super Low~Rate.

... I absolutely despise Super Super High~Rate.

...... So I found this {ForsakenRO}. That median. That equilibrium.

Everything in moderation.

To my story, I started playing RO on euRO and played a totally messed up sage. Some friend then invited me to my first HR server, WindyRO, where I've been for around 2 years and also became one of their GMs. Suddenly, the server had to close because the founder had problems which about nobody knew. (<-- wow that sentence was hot.) I then traveled through many other servers, such as aeRO, NiktoutRO, IpiRO etc. Then I had a break of one year. Someday, I was bored and thought of playing RO again. I just went to XtremTop100 and found some hot HR server. ForsakenRO. And yea, here I am. >:]

I ended up here because I heard on someother forums that Items have more than 1 slot.

In the beginning I came from iRO, 3~ish years, then went to aRO(2 years?), same thing with Icon, somthing happened to owner, and other GMs made the server a hell hole. (I think we are talking about the same server?) Then I was introduced to a High-rate, DarkRO, played there for 6~ish months, became bored with just PvP, WoE, and the occasional every 12 houred event, wich 1 person won 1/10th of what it took to get somthing from winning. I later ended up at BulletRO, wich Died as soon as we had 100 people on almost all the time, I was GM there, and I invited more than my share of people. I then later toggled with hosting BulletRO for 4 months, then I fianally said fuck it, and just quit hosting. I ended up here from a message on Xbox from a GM of iRO Loki. ^^;
