I didn't have a problem playing previously, but now, when I hit 'Start' on the fRO patcher, it very briefly pops up the RO window (a fraction of a second, probably), before it closes itself. I've tried running it as an administrator, bypassing the patcher entirely, and running it in multiple compatibility modes. Nothing seems to work. Help? :(
Bishop Posted December 6, 2015 Report Posted December 6, 2015 I'm assuming you're not getting an gravity error so please try the following: Help, When I start the game it closes immediately with no error message/ Is so small I can't use it! Go to your RO folder Open the setup application by double clicking it. At the top bar select your graphic card Select the resolution that you want (Always pick one lower or equal to your current resolution, not higher). Press OK. Right click your setup application and click run as administrator. Select the resolution that you want (Always pick one lower or equal to your current resolution, not higher). Press OK. Start the game by double clicking FkenRO.exe Your client should now work. Optional: On windows 8 make sure you disable full screen mode at the setup as full screen mode does not cooperate with windows 8 very well. If the above doesn't work you might be using opensetup.exe which will require you to click on a small button on the bottom left of the setup to change from LUA to REG.
