Most of the cards stack, with some exception like thanatos card and incantation samurai. Eight turle general cards will stack. You will not just get the highest damage. Cards with the same script add, or multiply if otherwise.

Boss/Non Boss x Race x Element x Size

Your cards were 4 TG and 4 paper, let us see.

[1+(4*20%)] + [1+(4*20%)] = 3.24

Let us compare it to 3 TG, 3 Paper, and 2 Skeleton worker cards:

[1+(3*20%)] + [1+(3*20%)] + [1+(2*15%)] = 3.328

This is better, but I am not saying it's the best combo cards. I just used that for example.
