Koko Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 This might be a stupid suggestion, but in my eyes it's at least somewhat smart... lol I suggest that you make certain items used for quests such as 9x Spiritual Whisper for the Blessed/Cursed rings quest obtainable by other means. My idea for this is to make them available to be quested for, but make the required items and insane quantity. I know, some of you might be thinking that this could be abused by bots, but I also suggest that these specific Spiritual Whispers (and required quest items) not be tradeable so that bots are 100% out of this suggestion. My reasoning for this is because not everyone likes to buy their quest items from other players and would rather obtain them on their own like myself. The only problem I have with getting some quest items is that people farm the mobs that drop them so much, it's nearly impossible to find them and even have a chance at getting the item. If you like this suggestion, but would recommend something be different about it, please feel free to share.
gennova Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 Hard to say from my point of view, since I'm a lazy MVPer or rare mob hunter. I rather buy it from another and just farm the rest. So lets see how others react to this. Since this will devalue the current price as well even though its untradable cause less people will buying right.

If you make it seriously insane, people would still rather buy it from other players. I personally would rather farm 2-3k items for 1x spiritual whisper than spend money/tok/or whatever.

sartorius19 Posted January 21, 2015 Report Posted January 21, 2015 2-3k items would rather be a lot already. for just 1 SW. well quest items that are hard to get are 1 of the ways new ones are getting money from. so making it questable would affect one of the new ones chance to earn money. + if its the ring quest items, i bet it would affect the price of the rings/jacket as well.
