Scamming..? Event..?

Recommended Posts

Well first thing first. I admit this is because of my greediness that made Ive got scammed or what else idk. I'm even new at Forsaken, not long ago I started to play this game. I know this is ridiculous but,GM Genesis pmed me in my chat room while there is still someone inside. He said to us if we wanted to win a 500 tokens by doing some deal so I traded all my eq with the stranger(so do that guy tho).

After we traded all thing include zeny/tokens/eq. Genesis said he wants us to log out for 2 hours so he can sub in the toks. But afterwards when I online again,my item still gone. No tokens,no eq,no zennies back. Well I'm really sorry to say this but,I lost my trustworthy to Genesis and so do other GMs.

By the way,to whom who are reading this,I know you guys want me to proof it but unfortunately I didn't take any shoot because Genesis has a time limit when proceeding the "event". But I can proof that I got what expensive item(to me). I hope Genesis or any other GMs read this post and give some respond to me so that I can continue to play Forsaken :)

You just got scammed by someone pretending to be a [GM], Genesis and other GM's would never ask for your items..

i fell for the similar trick 7 years ago tho ( and the worst thing is, the scammer is using my ID to scam others ) :c

If [GM]Genesis name didn't appear on the right side of the pub chat ( where your name and other stranger name was ), it was a trick where the scammer would use a lot of spaces and do their dirty work.

If you remember the scammer IGN and a screenshot would be really helpful to get your items back, make sure you tell everything.

either way, create a ticket and goodluck :o

Since this scam is being used again, here's a few reminders:

1: A GM will never ask for your login information or your items.

2: A GM does not 'offer deals' of any kind.

3: When a GM joins the chatroom his name will always show up on the right side. As long as the GM's name does not show up at the right side, then there's NO GM inside the chatroom and the other person in the chat room is attempting to scam you.

4: If you receive a PM and you're not sure if he/she is a real GM use @request. @request can only be read by real GM's and they will respond to it.

Furthermore, we'll attempt to help you in the ticket you've made. Closing this topic.
