hastemyday21 Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 I think it is more convenient to have an online market. I mean, for example. Even those who are using a computer without FRO can still buy, vend and sell their shit. (Offices, Netshop, Etc.) :D
Bishop Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 We have a market section on the forums if you want to advertise what you're buying/selling.
hastemyday21 Posted June 1, 2014 Author Report Posted June 1, 2014 What I mean is, you can sell and vend your items thru website. Not by posting something in the forums and then trading in-game.
-Si- Posted June 1, 2014 Report Posted June 1, 2014 Like an interface where you can log in with your game account and check the auctions for items. Like a big market place so you don't have to be in game to check for BC and can see it online in the market place. fRO Ebay! :D
Sensation Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 Would be slightly complicated with our current system to pull this off (merchant vending). An auction house system would make it possible when hooking the auction database to the fRO auction website (similar to what WoW has). It took them years to develop that though. I think there are more important things to develop currently, but this might be a nice long-term goal.
hastemyday21 Posted June 2, 2014 Author Report Posted June 2, 2014 Actually, some other servers have this kind of market. You just simply put your items in your storage and in the web, you can move items in the online storage.
-Si- Posted June 2, 2014 Report Posted June 2, 2014 (edited) hastemyday21, the process of selling/buying items in the web market yes it may be easy and simple, but that it not the issue. The harder complex part of this web market, is the coding, the fixing, making sure no bugs effect the market and so on. Edited June 2, 2014 by -Si-
Veracity Posted June 15, 2014 Report Posted June 15, 2014 We'll look into this, however I don't think it's very likely because there's a lot of ways it could be very problematic.
