[solved]lag Issues Most Of Us Experienced It! (need Your Suggestions)

@Me:: Guys" I need suggestions for my current problems: I have Lag issues since I reDL and repatch my FRO Installer... I bet you guys having problems lately... but base on my observations: I have OLD International Ragnarok Client file in which I have manually reused as a main client for my FRO server file and those times I haven't received any issues back then... so any suggestions? I am little annoyed of this lag issues.. I bet you guys too... found it annoying while you are in total game mode addict.. Im going to redo all the same system in which I did on my last client but It will kill me for such taking some of my gaming schedules (fvck.. pardon my french) I hope you guys will give me suggestions and make other players whos having thesame problems would have a great relief on this LAG issues... more power to you and to FRO family (Jah Bless) :th_bawi:

Hello Mecias,

Firstly I'd like to mention that using older or outdated iro clients is not something I'd recommend. However this shouldn't effect your ability to connect (unless you can't connect at all, in that case our grf file is probably not being read by the client properly). If you can't connect at all I'd recommend creating a new folder with simply our all-in-one installed and see if that allows you to connect. If you're only experiencing lag however, then re-installing shouldn't make a difference.

If you're having lag the first thing you should do is check your ping you can do this by following these steps:

1: Click on start

2: type in CMD

3: press enter

4: In the dos promt write : ping forsakenserver.net -t

5: Tell me what time= xx ms you get and if it's spiking or not, or maybe even timing out.

If your ping turns out to be high or you're timing out you can try and use a tracert to see if it's a specific hop that's causing the ping increase/spikes. you can do this following these steps:

1: Click on start

2: type in CMD

3: press enter

4: In the dos promt write : tracert forsakenserver.net

5: Do this a few times and see if there's a particular hop that's causing higher ping than others, if this is the case then your ISP is using bad hops. Keep in mind you'll have a few really low ms hops first (internal network) and then see a big spike when it goes to external, this is normal and does not right away mean it's a bad hop) The only thing you can do about bad hops is either contact your ISP and see if they can change anything in the route (not always possible due to external routes not being in their control) or try connecting through programs such as Wtfast whom attempt to optimize the route to the server.

With these two tests you can test your connection to our server which should give us some information on what is wrong. :)

You're very welcome. I hope wtfast will work out for you. It does for some, it doesn't for others. There's no guarentee that it'll help much but I believe it's worth a shot :) I'll be awaiting the results and be around in case you have any questions :).

I got my WTFast!! and Problem solved!! thanks a lot :th_thx:

but I am having problem in my creator once I will log it in.. it will always crash and some nil values boxes will going to pop out.. I just typed /hoai for my homunculi and till now cant use my creator T_T ... I have tried to DL the link that you have given on the Homunculi furom page but it does not work anymore.... I need help :th_e14:

I'm glad it solved your lag issues :) As for your creator, please visit the troubleshooting page which can be found here : https://forsaken-ro.net/download/troubleshooting-guide/ . Follow the steps under the header that says "Help I'm getting .lua errors" Those should solve your creator problems :)
