Minimized Window

everytime I open Fro it will start as a minimized window, i tried enabling full screen but still it gives me problem. I don't have this problem before.. plsshelp

Do you open fRO through the patcher or the All-in-one folder? You have to go to setup in the fRO (all-in-one) folder and change it to fullscreen, then open the game through the fkenro app in the All-in-one folder: at least that is what I do.

I open it with Fro not with the patcher,, I tried doing full screen but the game will close immediately because windows 8 doesn't support full screen for fro, Never had this problem before, I tried re-installing everythng but it didn't solve the problem

I also have some problem playing in small screen resolution like 640x800. When I open up another application that run in full screen or when i got an administrator prompt (like when i install new software and windows prompt you to accept and stuff), my game will hang in black screen. Any idea why does this happen? I think it may be due to computer setting and not because of the game itself. I don't have this problem last time =\

Open your setup.exe and set up your correct screensize at the resolution options. After this open the setup again but this time open it with administrator rights , and change it to the correct settings again. After this run the FkenRO.exe and it should apply.

Exchanging the setup.exe won't do anything if you downloaded the game through our all-in-one installer as recommended. If you however installed through the clients from ratemyserver.net exchanging the setup.exe can solve the issue.

hmm, GM Bishop, i have try your method but to no avail. it still remain black screen when there is an administrator prompt. keke. This kinda sucky because when i multi task like playing dota, i have to keep on exit ro program and reopen again each time I alt tab to switch window. X_X

That's a different issue than having a minimized client though. As long as you have windows (permission) promts coming up your client will freeze.
