Npc's Items Etc

So lately I've observed that when you try to purchase something from a custom npc of FRO and you have too much items/ overweight. It automatically deletes the item that you purchased and takes your tokens/ zenny as well, deleting it. Some NPC's that have done these are, Renter, for the pass and Ticket exchanger, in all its items. Cant it be lile, if your items are full the npc will reject what you wanted just like how kafra does it when reseting stats, saying that you have too much items or you are overweight. :) Just a player suggestion so others wont also get pissed if it happens to them

This server no often stat resets Endyuransu. We've had 2-3 global stat resets in 5+ years time. The last 2 were due to people abusing a bug in the knight quest. What would you prefer ? Having a global stat reset or having people running around with 300 all stats?

I'm also afraid that the npc is not able to check the amount of items in your inventory. The % overweight however is a status that can be checked for. In my opinion the big red letter warning at all npcs that can cause this issue is more than enough of a warning to make sure you have enough space in your inventory.

Usually items won't be converted or deleted as the overweight check is initiated before the deleting of items. If the statement is true for being overweight, the items won't be deleted from your inventory as the script won't even reach that far. If you for some reason manage to bypass that with messed up stat resetting (the global ones are announced and are done after you relog, not before, in which case you have time to put stuff in your inventory), then it isn't the servers fault.

The suggestion seems fair, but already is implemented in the item exchange scripts, decarding etcetera. If by some chance it does go wrong it usually is your own fault.

TLDR; Bishop is right.
