Recommended Posts

I downloaded the light patcher and install it in my updated PRO folder

xonmz8.png

this tiny window appeared when I click the start

I can hear the login sound, the only problem is the window size

I changed the resolution in the setup and used other graphic option but it doesn't fixed the problem.

thanks

There's probably no need to install the all in-one as long as you have the right setup file. Your issue is thoroughly explained at our troubleshoot section which you should read before creating a topic :P. You can find it here : https://forsaken-ro.net/downloads/troubleshooting-guide/

Follow the part at :

Help, When I start the game it closes immediately with no error message!

or perhaps udjust your screen reolution settings...

That doesn't help for this problem. It lies in how Windows recognizes RO. Thanks for trying to help though :)

What's stated in the guide solves your issues with 100% certainty if you installed the game through our all-in-one installer. Make sure you adjust setup.exe in normal AND administrator mode. Not either, both. Re-installing has no use.

Did you edit your setup.exe in both normal AND administrator mode? Did you try launching your FkenRO.exe in normal/administrator mode as well ? Were you able to select a resolution at the setup.exe and most importantly, Did you install our server through our all-in-one installer or not?

I run Windows 8(.1) myself and I can confirm that everything works as intended if you change the setup settings in both normal and administrator mode.

For something else (screenshots) I had to resort to registry edits, but for normal gameplay I wouldn't recommend it.

There's a difference between running the game through patcher and running the game without patcher too.
