Smexystalker Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 Hello, All! Never played the real RO, and I once played a pserver before this but I never made it very far... (ArmadoRO - only had like 13 people, and it closed several years ago @.@ I love the community on Forsaken, you are all awesome!!) With that being said, I apologize if this is a stupid question xD. But whenever I go to Abyss 3, people start attacking me for no reason. It doesn't matter which char I'm on or what level I am, but I'm always forced to flee (All I want to do is train =(. ) I've noticed that, on my sniper, I can easily kill the monsters there. She is level 255/200, looking to level the other 55 job levels there >.>. However, a Taekown who was doing half as much damage to monsters than I was, decided that they hated me. And started hitting me. Their attacks were doing 1022 on me, Mine were doing 104 damage. Am I missing something? I thought 'maybe it's a defense difference...' but critical hits bypass defence? and it's not just the Taekwon. I was slaying the lost dragon, and a sniper was hitting 3k's on me, and I could only hit 600's on them, even though I (again) was dealing more damage on monsters than they were. I feel like I'm missing something big here. Can anyone fill in the gap? The only thought I have is stacking reduced demihuman damage, but I'm not even sure if that applies to PvP xD. Your answer is 100x better than mine, so please, advise! Thanks!
Enenra Posted August 4, 2013 Report Posted August 4, 2013 First of all, leveling at abyss_03 is pretty tedious. You can go to for_fild06 and kill Uber Porings, Poporings and Drops to level, it is a lot faster that way. As for your damage, it could just be their stats/build or their equipment. There is Knight/King/Friggs shields which give 17%, 20% and 25% demi-human reduction respectively, and Usakoring Card which reduces demi-human damage by 35%. There's also your own damage modifiers (Hydra, Goldenring, Skeleton Worker, Silver/Normal Turtle General, etc) that are taken into account not to mention their weapon (custom weapons are pretty strong compared to normal NPC weapons) which could be why your damage is so low.

All players are counted as demi-human so things like Hydra, Thara Frog, Fallen Bishop Hibram, Usakoring, etc. Cards all affect them. @go is only for towns, @warp is to warp to the specific map. You can check the rest of your commands by typing @commands as well. Since it seems your questions have been answered, I will close this thread.
