If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.Under Performance, click Settings.Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.If the program is not in the list, click Add. Browse to the Program Files folder, find the executable file for the program (it will have an .exe file name extension), and then click Open. (Choose fkenro.exe)Click OK, click OK in the System Properties dialog box if it appears, and then click OK again. theonedevil Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 I have tried this and i'm still having the problem. I have checked and double check to make sure i did it right and as far as i can tell i have, but when i start the game its still a little box. I would appreciate any help with this.
Enenra Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 Have you tried setting up your setup.exe to run as Administrator? If not, try that. To do that, right click setup.exe and go to the Compatability Tab and check "Run this program as Administrator". Do the same for your fkenRO.exe and ForsakenRO Patcher.exe files. Be sure to check your setup.exe after you do so to see if resolution options (ie. 800x600) pop up. Let me know how that goes.
theonedevil Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 i have turned the setup.exe, fkenRO.exe and forsakenRO patcher.exe files to run as administrator. i am still getting the problem >.< not sure what im doing wrong but it must be something.
