I tried RO first but that wasn't fun :( The regular RO is in one folder and then I downloaded all of the files from the primary section into it but that came up with some sort of Lua error. Since that didn't work I tried putting all of the downloads from the primary section in to a new folder, but that came up with an error that won't go away until I restart. It says queryRegionInfo at the top, while in the pop up it says "attempt to call a nil value." Please help! This sounds very fun!
Bishop Posted July 8, 2013 Report Posted July 8, 2013 The lua error is caused by you missing the artificial intelligence files from homunculus and mercenaries. The nil value is caused by the client not reading the grf file. Easiest way to solve all your problems would to be to just download our all-in-one installer. You won't require anything else aside from that to play our server.
Keroberos Posted July 8, 2013 Author Report Posted July 8, 2013 I only downloaded the all in one but it still doesn't work! It first says Error Load MapInfoTable Failed! and then once I click okay it says the same attempt to call a nil value twice but with ResetTheHotKey at top and then back to queryRegionInfo. I don't know if this matters but when I try to use the patcher for a split second a yellow bar is at the bottom and then the bar disappears. When I click start on the patcher a little tiny screen appears where I can see the in game mouse barely. Thanks for trying to help guys :\

Bishop Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 (edited) When you install the game onto your desktop (a fresh folder) by using our all-in-one installer. What messages do you get and when exactly do you get them ? During the installation ? While starting FkenRO.exe ? while running the patcher? If possible include some screenshots so I can see what's in your folder as well. PS. Don't try to run our server with a diffed client or a client from another server. It will cause trouble. Sw3arl Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 Look for "Setup" in the file that you downloaded and change the Screen Mode:) After that, make sure you're running the "Fkenro" application and nothing else. Hope this helped.
