Devour Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 Do you mean it suddenly close when you pressed the start? If yes, do the changing of data execution prevention setting. 1.Open System by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking System. 2.Click Advanced System Settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. 3.Under Performance, click Settings. 4.Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select. Then select fkenro.exe Then try it to play again.

Just like a line.
Devour Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 That's for windows 7 and vista. Try to do that first. If you cant understand it. Use this. Open System by clicking the Start button , right-clicking Computer, and then clicking Properties. Click Advanced system settings. If you're prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Under Performance, click Settings. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select. If the program is not in the list, click Add. Browse to the Program Files folder, find the executable file for the program (it will have an .exe file name extension), and then click Open. (Choose fkenro.exe) Click OK, click OK in the System Properties dialog box if it appears, and then click OK again. You might need to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. Here's a tutorial with images. http://www.itechtalk.com/thread3591.html

Devour Posted June 30, 2013 Report Posted June 30, 2013 If they got deep freeze, the dep that you've added will be remove when you restarted the desktop/computer. For windows XP Click on Start and then Control Panel. Click on the Performance and Maintenance link. Note: If you're viewing the Classic View of Control Panel, double-click on the System icon and skip to Step 4. Under the or pick a Control Panel icon section, click on the System link. In the System Properties window, click on theAdvanced tab. Click on the Settings button in the Performance area of the Advanced tab. Note: This is the first Settings button. In the Performance Options window that appears, click on the Data Execution Preventiontab. Note: Only Windows XP users with service pack level 2 or higher will see this tab. In the Data Execution Prevention tab, choose the Turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select: radio button. Click on the Add... button. then choose FKENRO.EXE
