nike Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 It was running fine before I closed my RO then I try to log on after a few minutes. Open the patcher then when I press the "start the game" button It gives me this error "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000142)"
Bishop Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 First things first. Restart your computer and try again. Secondly, does this happen with more programs atm or just the RO client?
nike Posted April 17, 2013 Author Report Posted April 17, 2013 Only this RO client. I have played other servers but this never happens. It happen a couple times already, so I just uninstall the game and download the full installer again to be able play. Aannnd, I have also done you're suggestion but it won't do me no good :( Help PLEASE !
Bishop Posted April 21, 2013 Report Posted April 21, 2013 If redownloading/re-installing does not work try the following: Click on start. At the search bar type in cmd. A program will come back as search result called cmd. Right click it and run it as administrator. You will then see a black box. Inside the box type "sfc /scannow" without the quotation marks. Let it run and see if it finds anything / is able to fix anything.
