Voltorios Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 Yeah sorry to post about it again. Just really unsure the cause of the hang up. It just sits on the 0% again. I'm just going to have to keep trying I guess but its kinda bothersome.

I DID get back into the game again for a split second but as soon as I switched to a different screen and the loading screen popped up.... It just sat there again
Bishop Posted April 14, 2013 Report Posted April 14, 2013 Windows 8 seems to be very troublesome with Ragnarok Online in general. In any case on windows 8 make sure you're not running the game in full screen mode.
Voltorios Posted April 14, 2013 Author Report Posted April 14, 2013 Ok so the loading problem is the least of my worries now. Now my game wont run at all. I click 'play' on the launcher a black screen comes up and then vanishes, that's it. I've been playing around with the game a bit trying to run everything in compatibility mode, and administrator mode. BUT NOW I've noticed in my SETUP option there is no options under the screen resolution. and if I take it off full screen mode all that pops up is a little window about an inch in size and that's it
Bishop Posted April 15, 2013 Report Posted April 15, 2013 When using windows 8 you have run both the client and the setup.exe in compatibility mode windows 7. Also if your resolution box remains empty please check if you have directX installed properly and if your graphic card drivers are updated.
