Blessed Ring Step 27 Question..

after step 27 where i need to talk to that 3-dot-NPC on the cliff,i got warped to a magma place,i easily found the portal going to the next map,the next map after is not yet step 28,instead,it was a magma-like map again with a lot of fog...it's name is Muspellheim, but i've been wandering off this map for about 30 minutes now and i can't seem to find the right NPC or portal which will bring me to step 28 i suppose...please help again...

From where u spawn, keep going up until u see a firey thingy named Flare. You go left from there and you should see the next NPC.
