[Solved]Forsaken Ro On Macbook ^_^

Hi I am new here I wonder how 2 play this game on Mac?????? I dun wan 2 pay $15 for Paralells.. anyone else know how 2 install dis game on Apple?

Hi, and welcome to ForsakenRO as a fellow Macbook user, I have made a guide for you to play here

This is the easiest way I have learned to play on Mac OSX, without installing windows, or without paying.

GUIDE:

Use Crossover for Mac. http://www.codeweavers.com/products/ [Download Free Trial]

Here's a tutorial on how to use it..

Step 1. Download and install Crossover [easy stuff]

Step 2. Download ForsakenRO Full Installer.

Step 3. Right click on All_In_One_v2.1.exe, Select Open With, Choose Crossover.

Step 4. A installer window will pop up, on the first part, scroll down, and select Other Game.

Step 5. In the "Will Install" section, select Choose Installer File, then find All_In_One_v2.1.exe, select it.

Step 6. Choose the type of bottle you would like to install it in [Doesn't really matter which you choose]

Step 7. Press Install

Step 8. Now, sometimes it takes a little bit to install the bottle and All_In_One_v2.1.exe, give it a little bit, and when the FRO Installer pops up, install it like you would any other version of Ragnarok Online. IMPORTANT: Make sure you do not change where it installs, just click next when it asks you where you would like to install it.

Step 9. NOTE: YOU WILL HAVE TO USE THIS STEP EVERY TIME YOU WANT TO PLAY. Click and hold the Crossover Application, select Run Command, when that pops up, Use Bottle All_In_One_v2.1.exe if it already isn't selected. Now, click browse, and click Program Files, ForsakenRO, and find Fkenro.exe.

Step 10. Have fun! And welcome! =D

EDIT: THIS IS A 14 DAY FREE TRIAL OF CROSSOVER, IF YOU CHOOSE NOT TO PURCHASE IT YOU MUST FOLLOW THE FOLLOWING STEPS EVERY TWO WEEKS, WHEN THE TRIAL RUNS OUT.

1. GO TO FINDER > ALL MY FILES > LIBRARY > PREFERENCES> FIND THESE FILES AND DELETE THEM

-com.codeweavers.CrossOver.plist.lockfile

YOU WILL HAVE TO REDO STEPS 3-9 EVERY TWO WEEKS IF YOU USE THIS METHOD

^ He's actually right. This is what I had been doing for two weeks but now, my crossover expired and it sucks because I don't know what to do with that expired thing with crossover. But i'll try to do the last thing you said there bigsmoke. :D
