I had to go to control panel and reset position.. I need a drop from hardrock mammoth, but this happens when i get close to it.

No one can decipher/do anything with them :P It's because you're not updated to the latest patch. @mi Hardrock and he drops nothing but Unknown Items. It's the same for me. Either way, you'll have to download our all-in-one installer. That will solve your problem. Your sdata.grf is outdated. If you error from hardrock mammoth you will error from a lot of other mobs/maps as well.

To this day I haven't met any body on a private server who knew how to make sense of error dumps. :P A huge majority of the time it's just outdated files so posting them doesn't really make a difference. Anyway, I used the all-in-one and I'm receiving this error.

There's a few basic things you can get out of them, to an rather easy extend. Eureka Posted March 10, 2013 Author Report Posted March 10, 2013 @Autopsies I've been a dev gm and head gm, I wouldn't doubt the capabilities of a server as elderly as this one. =P @Bishop ty for the support, though the patcher did not fix the problem. I'll ask my guildies if the same happeneds for them.

Veracity Posted March 10, 2013 Report Posted March 10, 2013 I have heard that some renewal mobs will cause non-renewal clients to error because the size of the mob's sprite is too big for the older client. Since our server isn't a renewal one, although we have all of the latest maps/mobs/etc., it could be causing this. I'm not an expert but I think it may explain your problem. There are similar problems on certain Renewal maps as well which cause errors that our mapper is going to fix. For this we'd need one of spriters to shrink the size of the mob down by 10% or so, which should fix it from what I've heard. Either way, what is the drop you're trying to get from the mob? I can tell you if there's another way to get it or not. :)

Also I'll see what I can do about the mammoth sprite since I used to do spriting, I should be able to fix it and give it to you guys. thnx for all the help! caio!
Bishop Posted March 11, 2013 Report Posted March 11, 2013 I'll be looking into this as well. I'll talk to Veracity regarding this and we'll try and solve it as soon as possible. Also as far as I know Hardrock Mammoth's drops are not yet added to the mob. The Ivory Lance you're looking for is unobtainable at the moment. Sorry for the inconvenience !
