On your Ro folder look for setup.exe file, open it and on the first combo box choose your video card and arrange the resolution of the game to the one that you find the most comfortable.

the Setup.exe doesn´t overcome the problem. a very little window is shown, the full screen mode doesn´t go

problem solved, compatibility mode Windows xp sp2, and execute as an administrator the setup. exe

Yeah... That's not an issue with Setup.exe.

I see you use 7. Where is your RO folder at? If it's in the default directory (C:\Program Files\Gravity), User Account Control could be causing issues. Disabling UAC might fix that problem (and the inability to take screenshots that comes with it). I recommend disabling UAC for anyone who plays RO on Windows 7 (another workaround is installing RO onto your desktop or something).

If you don't know how to check UAC, go to Control Panel, click on User Accounts and Family Safety -> User Accounts -> Change User Account Control settings... set it to never notify and restart your computer.

Otherwise it's likely a video driver issue. Make sure all your drivers are up to date. Make sure you check the actual website and not through device manager as it misses updates a lot of the time.

When i'm gonna open the game, I don't open it using patcher because I have the exact same problem.

What I did to solve this issue was to open the FRO Directory(c:, program files, ForsakenRO), In there is a File called Fkenro, I use that.

I created a shortcut, And placed on desktop for easy access. Now my client works fine.

The answers have been given in this topic:

Yeah... That's not an issue with Setup.exe.

It's an issue with both user/admin rights and the setup.exe actually.

-If your using windows 8 you have to set the setup.exe and the client to run in compatibility mode.

-If you want to use the patcher you have to setup your setup.exe in either administrator mode and none administrator mode. This depends in what mode you run the client in. The easiest way to bypass the issue of figuring out in what mode you're running the client is by setting up the setup.exe in both administrator mode and none administrator mode. that way the changes in setup.exe will be executed despite of the mode you run the client in and the changes in setup.exe should apply while running the game through the patcher as well :).

-Inside your setup.exe you have to select your graphics card at the top bar and a resolution smaller than your own screen at the resolution option.

The above will solve any issues regarding the small screen issues and the client not responding to the setup.exe.
