I have tried everything, I have changed the settings, I've ran it as administrator, pretty much everything. When I go into setup, I can choose my grapich cards, but whatever I do I cannot choose resolution, and when I start the game, everything is black with a white box in the middle, and it stays like that for a couple of seconds and then closes. I have tried running the client in compability mode, but still wont work. You can close this one now! Found a solution! I had to run the Setup in compability mode to be able to change the resolution, then start the client in compability mode aswell. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Bishop Posted December 17, 2012 Report Share Posted December 17, 2012 Ah. This is caused because the client and the setup are seperate applications and run with seperate administrator rights. So the changes you applied to the setup.exe did not work until you ran the client with the same administrator rights. Running them in compatability mode changes both files to use the same administrator rights, therefor setup effects the client :3. Closing.
