I can never get past the screen server selection screen as this usually pops up so I never access the character selection screen. Also, when trying to run the patcher nothing patches, it just shows up with the START icon and all that other stuff. Help is appreciated, thanks.
Bishop Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 There's a few things you can try : 1: Delete fpatch.ini and re-run the patcher. It will re-patch several updates. 2: Re-download the all-in-one from the direct link and see if that solves it. 3: Wait for the new manual patch and apply it, see if that fixes it.

Bishop Posted November 2, 2012 Report Posted November 2, 2012 The .inf is the one you need to delete. But downloading the direct all in one should fix your errors, if not report back here and we'll seek for some other solutions
milvio Posted November 3, 2012 Author Report Posted November 3, 2012 (edited) Downloaded all-in-one by the direct download and installed it. Still running into the same problem. Update: Uninstalled and then installed again experiencing a slight difference. When I run the Fro patcher I now see at the bottom a white box saying "Attempt to connect to patch server" but then it just goes away. Keep in mind I am running all of these as administrator. Bishop Posted November 9, 2012 Report Posted November 9, 2012 Try downloading this : http://www.sendspace.com/file/da3x8a Extract it into your RO folder. Overwrite all if it asks you to. Then try running the game through the FkenRO.exe

Bishop Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 This might be a big favor to ask but it would really help me out for future similar problems as well. Could re-download the all in one, but this time from the direct link instead of the torrent ? You can use a program such as flashget to speed it up and prevent corruption of any sort.

Click on My Account, it should lead you to the page where you have all your characters listed. Click on a character you want to reset your looks for. Sbove everything else written there should be Viewing Character (Nameofyourcharacter): Reset Look, Reset Position. Click on reset look and you should be all set :)

Looks like this method solved the problem right away for me. Turns out I've actually played on this server before haha, had a character already. One more problem though, it seems as though my name is now "null"? Any way to change it?
Bishop Posted November 28, 2012 Report Posted November 28, 2012 Glad it worked for you. It's normally the first thing we suggest a player to do if he/she had played before. Though because you claimed you didn't have a character yet it came up as one of the last options. Either way the charactername was changed to null due to the extensive time of inactivity. The only way to regain your character name is by remaking your character. The name can only be regained if it has not been taken by a different user.
