Apostle Posted March 31, 2012 Report Posted March 31, 2012 So me and a few friends played a couple of years ago and Im starting to get into the mood for RO again so im looking into comming back, but its been a long time since ive played on this server so I have some questions. The main question I have is about yggs. If I remember correctly yggs have no cooldown on them meaning you can spam them as fast as you want. My concern is that this might make pvp a "who can hold the most/spam the most yggs" contest. Is there a way to counter someone spamming yggs? From what I've seen most of the people on the server play sinx and champions so that makes me concerned that the only counter to ygg spam is to either kill someone in one hit (champ asura) or to have super high dps (sinx). Now im not saying yggs ruin the pvp or anything like that but as a player who hasnt pvp'd in a long time Im genuinely curious as to how people deal with/prevent ygg spam when pvping. Another question I have is about woe. Is woe still popular here and if so what are the main guilds? I played back in the Destiny, Influence, and Triumph days and from what Ive seen they're no longer around so I'd like to know what the active woe guilds are.
killee07 Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 Catching them off-guard can be a trick besides 1-hitting and high DPS. Ygg spamming is a skill, so let it be. About the guilds. Guilds come and go, I mean the names. But the people behind them seems the same so I suggest you to get to know the people, not the guild.
Aerynth Posted April 1, 2012 Report Posted April 1, 2012 You'd still be able to kill them if you deal high damage in a decent fast speed. Enough for their Ygg/Seed spamming skill to not comprehend the damage you are dealing. Catching them off guard is another option. Like as Killee said, get to know the people not the guilds. I've seen many name changes as of lately.
Apostle Posted April 1, 2012 Author Report Posted April 1, 2012 Can you explain a little more about catching people off guard? I can understand that concept if I were to play a sinx or stalker but Im more interested in playing a pally so im not sure how id be able to do that.
killee07 Posted April 2, 2012 Report Posted April 2, 2012 Hmm. As simple as attack them when they expect it the least? I think every class has its own element of surprise. Try experimenting. I'm sure you'll figure something out.
