Andromeda Posted February 7, 2012 Author Report Posted February 7, 2012 I know right? I can't decide for one only because they're all so awesome :3
ecstasy19 Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) vote goes to : [3] Sookyay Creativity - 4 Technical - 4 Execution- 5 Aesthetic- 5 Total: 18 reason: to me it really defines the genre of Steam Punk very well as we all know Steam Punk is basically about, sci-fi fantasy involving a setting where steam power or generally known by the "Wild West"-era. The fonts used; Old English, the background color effects; Sepia used on the train in the background made a very strong expression of Steam Punk to the signature. Enough said, the signature says it all. Great job! (; Edited February 13, 2012 by ecstasy19
Aerynth Posted February 13, 2012 Report Posted February 13, 2012 I'm stuck between 2 entries, but this time around.. My vote goes to [5] Nelly Creativity - 4 Technical - 4 Execution- 4 Aesthetic- 4 Total: 16 I like how your signature has the vintage looks in it. Fits the theme of Steam Punk well, and the font of the that you used "Old English" matches the setting. Plus the background also adds on the the Theme well. Moreover, the neutral colours on your signature gives it the 60's feel. Well done I must say.
Andromeda Posted February 15, 2012 Author Report Posted February 15, 2012 This topic will remain open until we get more votes. (:!
Alice Lindstrom Posted February 23, 2012 Report Posted February 23, 2012 (edited) I haven't log in days, still no votes.. :l How long is this going to take? whatever [5] Nelly Creativity - 3 Technical - 3 Execution- 4 Aesthetic- 4 Total: 14 - Really speaks for itself, you can see its about Steampunk. Render very nice placed as well as background and the text really fits. It's clean but i'd say more blending <3 the background is pretty big and sharp so it kinda takes away focus from your focal. That kind of vintage look makes it very nice to see :3 Edited February 24, 2012 by Alice Lindstrom
Elaice Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 [3] Sookyay Creativity - 4 Technical - 4 Execution- 4 Aesthetic- 4 Total: 16 I had a hard time choosing between Sookyay and Nelly's entry but I decided to go for Sookyay's. I love the over all look of her signature. Everything is well executed the text, the background suits the render, the focal is well placed and her signature fits the theme perfectly. :)
Andromeda Posted February 29, 2012 Author Report Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) Alright, I'll now close this thread with saying I loved all the entries of that week. It was hard to decide only for one, but then again, you can't always pick everything that you like. My vote for this weeks signature goes to [1]Alice Lindstrom. I can't explain exactly why it was the one that caught my eye the most. Maybe it's because of it's simple shape, and the fact that it's the smallest of the signatures. I love the way she cropped image, puting only a guy on the siggie, though maybe the other parts of the original picture could be displayed on it too (with this I'm pointing out that floating tomato, ♥). Colors and contrast are quite nice, and well, it's a really beautiful signature, in my opinion. Very appealing. Impressive (:!
