[Solved]Stuck For A Day Already..

I tried re-installing Forsaken RO and it won't work for this computer. I've already downloaded the Full All-In-One and when I try to install the Patcher, it says Forsaken All-In-One has not totally installed because of the following reason :

BMM/08/mp3: This file contains invalid data. (error 21FC)

You will have to run this utility again to completely install ForsakenRO All-In-One.

I did... Like 20 times. I seem to can't find a reason to solve this problem.

it depends. on what kind of system it is, windows, vista, apple, linux. it all depends i know that alot of these do not support RO in general.

what i would do. probibly remove everything fro releated like do a complete uninstall. and them from there you could do the whole pack again. it use to happen to me and i just removed everything then reinstall

I've downloaded the whole pack over again and now the new problem is "Please go to Control Panel to install and configure system components." And I can't update this computer to service pack 2. It keeps saying fail and can't update. So I'm basically outdated. There's something blocking me from updating my computer. The drive doesn't allow fRO until I update it. Though, you seem to fix this by re-installing... But did you do anything else before you could?

HMM. what i suggest is possibly full restart. restart your computer to factory settings.

you know when u turn it on and it says like press f11 to system restart. id suggest lookin into that. i did a full restart. there could be something on your computer that u downloaded that is blocking it for you,

Damn bro. I re-formatted this computer that I got from my aunt and yeah I did that F11 and restored to it's original factory.. There's a program on my computer that is messing up every download I downloaded. I just want to see what the problem is.. If I do a full restart, my computer will require some updated service that is required for ForsakenRO, so I will have to update and I don't know which ones before I need to download RO. Again... That's why it messes up and I can't League of Legends or fRO

I guess I'll do 1 more full re-boot and wait like 10 more hours to play fRO or League of Legends. Since I'll be sleeping and won't install right away and won't have a clue what to do..

another suggestion is. to find a friend who has a complete wipe out. i know tha when i buy a computer i always save the brand new settins to disk or a memory stick and if anything happens do a destructive restore. it takes everything off. to where u just have like IE and stuff. its the final system restore. but ya. id suggest going through the computer and lookin at the programs that arent basic.

Clean your computer with CCleaner, also try to identify which services are ones that aren't coming along with Windows XP (http://ss64.com/nt/syntax-services.html).

If the problem persists, you could try to run windows XP in a virtual emulating application (virtual box for example), if you can do everything you want to do in there, you are sure that it is your current windows installation that messes up the configuration of newly downloaded files.

Try these out I'd say to gain a bit more information and of course a slightly cleaned up computer.

I guess I'll go back to the old computer. Too much work for me. I went to buy a power supply and took everything apart and installed it and took me 10th tries to actually got the right plug in for power. I guess I'll stick to this for now, thanks for the help though.
