Welcome to the voting thread of the 51st SOTW!
When voting in the SOTW, we will be expecting you to fully understand the rules.

Rules that the voter must understand:

*Voters must have at least a post count of 10 in order to vote.
*Contestants are not allowed to vote for themselves, but are now allowed to vote in the SOTW.
*Judges' signature grades will be doubled (e.g., if a judge gives 10, it would count as 20).
*Non-judge points will count for full credit.
*Each voter must fill out at least one rubric for the entry of their choice.
*Each entry must have at least 2-3 GOOD sentences in addition to the rubric.
* Signatures will be based on a point-basis.




Voting Rubric:

Rate each of the following categories from 1 to 5, with 5 being 'excellent' and 1 being 'ok/decent'...

*Creativity - how creative the signature is.
*Technical - how challenging the attempted idea.
*Execution- how the idea is put together and how successful it is.
*Aesthetic- how visually pleasing the signature is, regardless of how complex it may be.

Include the total points.

Must include 2-3 sentences discussing the over-all reason why you're casting a vote for the signature.
Try to think in terms of the categories above, but you're free to discuss other elements as well.

I like how your signature feels like a masterpiece in an art gallery, it gives me the vibe like you have painted one of the greatest paintings in the world. I like how it feels that it hides a message behind the signature, it feels so mysterious. Everything in your signature is executed clean and neat, and to me yours stands out the most amongst the rest. Everything blends well with your signature including the fonts.

My reasoning is it's a beautiful image with great balance of light and dark which flows effortlessly. Great use of texture as well; it gives the feeling of being submerged in water. It's the only image which is strongly supported by black and white.The only thing I'm not crazy about is the text, I think it should be more subtle.

The signature looks well put together. The mood is gloomy, which I think fits well with the black & white theme. The C4D or whatever the hell it is that they put in looks like chains to me which I think adds to the gloomy feeling, and the water stocks used goes well with the image of the girl in the water. Well done, sir heh.

Also, did the voting system change or something where non-judges' votes count as 1 point? It's supposed to be half a point if I remember correctly, if you guys adjusted because we gfx mods are lazy scumbags I'll understand heh.EDIT: Nvm I just read the rules again heh so I guess my points count as 32?

The sig nine's put out is just more aesthetically pleasing than the others. I really like the boldness of the black hand. I like that it's not ALL grayscale and there's some contrasting and crisp values. And all the whispy lines carry a nice sense of movement through the sig.
