When voting in the SOTW, we will be expecting you to fully understand the rules. Don't know the rules? Click Here Rules that the voter must understand: *Voters must have at least a post count of 10 in order to vote. *Contestants are not allowed to vote for themselves, but are now allowed to vote in the SOTW. *Judges' signature grades will be doubled (e.g., if a judge gives 10, it would count as 20). *Non-judge points will count for full credit. *Each voter must fill out at least one rubric for the entry of their choice. *Each entry must have at least 2-3 GOOD sentences in addition to the rubric. * Signatures will be based on a point-basis. I don't think anyone here has done that as all sources have been posted. It would be quite easy to tell if someone stole a signature I've seen 90% of everyone's styles who enters Signature of the Week if they changed to a completely different style then it could be very obvious. If you have any problems with that feel free to pm me about it. P.S. Just because you have your name on your signature doesn't mean it proves it's yours at all. Edited October 11, 2011 by Seraphine

The C4D bubbles don't seem like they have a flow and draws the attention from the focal. The stuff at the head coming from her eye is choppy and doesn't seem executed as the rest of the sig. Edit: @ 8. Yours is really good too, and it needs a lot of skill to be able to color like that. I don't like the sig itself, but good job at that. Edited October 11, 2011 by Accel

IMO! copy/paste .. adjust opacity .. blur/sharpen/smudge here and there .. fiddle with the contrast a bit .. throw in some back/foreground images .. adjust opacity .. blur/sharpen/smudge here and there .. fiddle with the contrast a bit .. throw in a quick border, name and done .. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 2,3 & 4 .. these fell right into this trend 6 .. to me it just looks like 2 or 3 stacked images with a lil smudge action, a lil see-thru magic and no border but i love the fact that you cut out the top layer to leave an unobstructed view of the character's chest 1 .. clearly put forth a bit more effort and a border .. but still fell in line with 2,3,4 & 6 8 .. i loved this stock ... however ... i think you went overboard with the color scheme and you made parts of it so dark that you can't make out the border design in the corner or most of the shadowing that probably drew your attention to the image in the first place 7 .. the background is intricate and stylish, even though it seems like you changed artistic directions 3 or 4 times from left to right and back to front .. i think if the light source were on just the background or just on the foreground it would be more on point but then it would just accentuate the odd pose and tilt of the character 5 .. while i tend to believe that it's a copy/paste job also, it's excellently constructed .. this is the cleanest of all the sigs .. the character draws your attention, it's crisp, it's vibrant, every aspect/layer really pops and i think the glow and font bring it all together IMO! But my vote goes to [1]Shono Creativity -3 Technical - 3 Execution- 5 Aesthetic- 5 Total:32 I'd have to say Shono did the best job of putting the character from the Manga he picked and implementing it in his signature and made it look extremely good. Also the c4d renders he chose to use in the making of his signature were really good and fit really well,overall a very good job.

Everyone did an excellent job, so hats off to everyone (: Anyway, my vote goes to [1] Shono, :3 Creativity - 3 Technical - 3 Execution - 4 Aesthetic - 5 Total - 15 I love the outlook of the signature. It's simple and nice, and I guess that is why it captivates me the most. Not only that, the most wonderful thing about the signature is how it managed to portray the "sweet, innocent and bubbly" image of Hatsune Miku. The character comes alive in the signature, which makes me go, "Kawaii ne, Miku-chan! <3"
