I'm a high wiz here's my stats/gear: Str 51+78 Agi 108+53 (195 aspd) Vit 109+50 Int 300+ 107 Dex 116+ 44 (10 extra for when I switch Fshoes or cloak out) Luk 1+48 Fhelm [2 Kiels] Snowflake Aura [uber Drops] Devil RS [Kiel] Elite Wiz staff [4 Red ferus cards] Fcloak [2 salamander] + Elite Cloak [2 Raydric] FArmor [GR and Tao] Fshoes [2 FBH] + Elite Shoes [2 Green Ferus] Elite Shield [usakoring] 2 ND int belts (Have the money for donation ints but can't find a seller) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Seems everytime I jump into forfild I get mowed down instantly by people hitting me for 25k rapidly, be it arrow vulcan, tomahawk, or double strafe, (lolsinx auto attacks). Professors have a tougher time taking me down since I actually have time to ygg, right now my focus isn't damage, it's just managing to stay alive. I'm stuck with 120k hp "eh" damage and really crappy redux it seems. So, advice?
Decode Posted September 1, 2011 Report Posted September 1, 2011 Well basically you are getting so much damage from people because you are wearing an Elite Shield Vs Donation Damage, it is hard to counter that, even more if you just have 1 Fcloak. I think the problem you are facing with your damage is that, you are hitting people with an Elite Staff and the damage is not comparable with the Wiz Highness, maybe you could try your damage with a Non-Donation geared player, I think that it will show the actual damage you should be doing if you were facing someone from the same line.

I have an Only fset piece I'm missing is the shield, and getting a wiz highness is lol without 30$ when you're starting from scratch. They sell for like 600-700 tokens.

INT gives you a great deal of Matk bonues each time it reaches a multiple of 10, lower at least 7 that way you get a 293+107, as it is right there, you're wasting a good 224 stat points that could get you around 10~15k HP plus. Quickly invest on a F shield it is very worth it. Don't use Raydrics, gets skollls, many people other than champs kill you because of thanatos card. Use your safety wall against asura-happy pricks, and get another armor to put in two orc lord cards; if you're about to get an asura to the face, put it on, next time they'll think twice about asuraing you with all their strength, and if they use the weak version you can easily survive on GR. Against champs switch them back and forth to keep them on their toes. Quagmire Snipers/Guns/Clowns; my hint is, do not maxmize your quagmire, let it level 3 so you can constantly re-cast it when they move; at level 3 it lasts shorter and can be cast 3 times instead of only 2). Quigmire holds them well and cuts their DEX(and theus damage). Quagmire was recently modified to affect even people on GTB so learn to love it. Energy Coat always and keep your SP full for it to save your hide. Carry Gems to use Gambaiten; Profs might ME when you start using your meteor storm, cast as much as you can and Gamba when the timing's right, they might die if you do it right. Get a scarf when voting's back up, much better than ruckie specially since you take off the F set for lack of spare F parts. Get a maya card to fight profs, quagmire them too; they can't spam with their DEX lowered, and ganba their force fields. i'd recomend kingrings instead of Red Ferus so that you have a wider arsenal than just Meteor Storm. Carry a bit of BoS or Water/Fire Verters to tickle people with Stave Crasher. One strategy i like is to cast Deluge/Volcano, Safety Wall then surround myself with 3 quagmires, works wonders against meelees. Train a bit your AoE placing ^^ i also like sinx card; its perfect to evade punishment when people GTB and force them to enter your quagmires in order to reveal you, then again it might be a bit hard to manage 3 cloaks 2 armors and shoes so, choose wisely ^^ Play defensively if the duel is 1 on 1, Safety Wall, Cloaking, Quagmire... i really hope you can get the better gears soon ^^

Thanks for the advice, I really appreciate it :D RM seems to not be popular at the moment so everytime I port out I get ganged by 3+ people the second I move, but with this I'll atleast stand a chance 1 vs 1.

Carry Gems to use Gambaiten; Profs might ME when you start using your meteor storm, cast as much as you can and Gamba when the timing's right, they might die if you do it right ... i really hope you can get the better gears soon ^^ LOL Well Ganbantein ( fro name I beleive) Prolyl spellign it wrogn but Oh well Hey this is my own personal Tech. for dealin with a proff you can GTB so they preity much useless and change ur armor to non GR ( stave lower dmg vs non GR person I do beleive) And Spam the crap Outa MS over top the guy once he is like haha stupid HW .....Bam Ganban right under him 3x3 removes ME and OMG he prolly scare or die ^_* I should Know Ive taught this tech. to Many people who wana HW lol ^_^ and youve seen my HW she isnt half bad, with my limited Gear of jus 1 f set ^_^... keep 50 yellow an 50 blue gems on a HW at all times ^_^
