Wing Changes

Simple poll since movement speed wings have completely fallen out of use since I started playing (years ago). If you have any ideas that aren't in the poll feel free to post them here.

I think they're fine the way they are - no need to change em. I hate when changes are made to really old equipment, it just alters the value and everything.

That's true, but the fact is they're relatively useless at this point in the game. Paying heaps of money for a useless item is kind of senseless isn't it?

Well it's about what the majority wants. I'm more looking for other people's ideas, not really trying to change things.

It's what's better for the server as a whole but majority can play a part depending on the topic,anyway i don't think it's wise to change current effects of wings because plenty of people have wings just collecting dust in there storages or alt accounts,if we gave new effects for wings it's like a brand new item so it might be best if new wing sprites were created and give them different effects.

Would make them more useful. I don't think anyone will QQ about the value of their wings being increased.

Then what about the PvP ladder Ice wings and Green mythological wings? They'd have to also get a buff if that happens or it would just be unfair to the people that have them and then they'd be completely useless and worthless.

Uhhh, they're already worthless other than for looks? People buy them for looks alone... but i guess buff them the same... I see no harm. Didn't you guys accept a suggestion with something about improving pvp prizes?

I know that, i only said that so it's fair to the people that have them get an equal or more buff to them.

Maybe add a quest that let's you combine items so it has the primary item's stats but the secondary item's sprite? Not sure how complicated it would be to code it.

That would involve creating tons of new items that are just duplicates of the existing ones with different stats, which honestly I think would be a waste of time and effort. It'd be a lot of work and for something that isn't all that important. It's extremely unlikely we would ever buff the existing wings since as Seraphine said, that's essentially giving someone a brand new free item that's better than what they had before. As servers grow, things change: old items become useless when new, better items are created. We can however add a couple of new wings that are better than the old ones, but I personally am strongly against buffing the existing wings.
