I'm seriously getting sick of how you believe something works when you don't have a clue lol.

It changes depending on your configuration but ALL emulators hold files that regulates the behavior of status effects, among them theres a particular "Configuration" that regulates whats the required vit/luk rate to gain immunity as well as the maximum resistance to status.

Besides source edit is no other than a C coding if thats your concern, its not hard, its not an issue and for gods sakes: THATS NOT THE CASE HERE.

Back to the idea:

Im not sure that would work, I mean things like asura strikers may have a lot of problems (Status immunity require headgear compounded cards) ... not to mention many of the status effects have terrifying effects and they are easy to spam in a high rate environment, the problem its not possibility is just that it would be incredibly hard to regulate, Stun completely nulifies Flee,

silence is easy to abuse, sleep is somewhat balanced but then again yes this would be rather hard to control.

I'm afraid this cant be done here.

yeah that would be fine but... the only possible cap would be on 255... after all I always get 150 + 40~60, and still have my build fully loaded in any class... Imagine the uproar people would do when noticing they need to add so much points...

It would be ok on me but well thats me not everybody, other option would be to make the max resistance to status effects: 99%

that setting only affects immunity gained via vit/luk, immunity cards and equipments are not affected, however remember that such status effects will have a reduced lasting time (vit reduces the time it takes to recover from such status effects).

Id like to hear some opinions from GM's, to be honest I don't think this would be approved but its worth asking.

Actually nines is right, source modifications aren't an option, if you would bother to read the somewhat self-explaining reason behind it: Suggestion Rules. Read Them. Read before you post! You'd see for yourself in the last bold sentence being said this:

Do not suggest skill edits or anything that would require source editing. We know it's not ideal, but since it can't be done at this time, try to be creative and work around it (e.g., suggest item/card effects, etc.)

Just letting you know that you shouldn't work out this too much based on the description & information you provide yourself, try to make it possible within the boundaries set by the Administrators.

no i disagree, why? this is a high rate server so no status shit to disable us, only sleep skill from bacsojin but besides that status problem sux !

thats the reason we can get up to 300 stat on each atribute right? <.<

What can't be done, need not be done.. True true.. At least not for the time being.. Wait for when it's feasible, then you suggest it.

Most people seem to be against it and it wouldn't be possible for us to do something like this currently regardless. Thank you for your suggestion, though.
