I would suggest a wider range of donation payment options instead of just the one, AlertPay also the bringing back of the paypal donation method.

Yes, in agreement with Barbie, PayPal was removed for a certain reason. We don't use them anymore, nor likely will we ever again, I think. :/

AlertPay is just as easy as PayPal once you set it up.

You can also donate through Western Union.

Paypal was removed because of issues with refunds or something like that I believe... because of this I don't think it'll be brought back.

Oh alright then, thanks for the help. Ah well thats a shame then. Just wondering could you transfer funds from a Paypal account to an alertpay one?

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure but I know you can transfer your paypal funds to your checking account then transfer them from the checking account into your alertpay account. It's just two extra steps :wacko:

I agree! More routes to receive money for the server means more growth :D

I don't mind alert pay, I have no issues with it. But those who try harder are more likely to succeed.

Maybe Papypal was quit because the % of interests more high and it costed a lot for the server.

idk about you, but WU charges me a $14 fee to send money on top of whatever amount I'm sending.

alertpay charges me about 3% of the transaction amount to convert it from USD.

paypal was the best for me.

i think there were particular reasons why they went from paypal to alertpay, and it's still a usable alternative to the former. better to have something rather than nothing of course!

Well, the Paypal Registration was enuf for me. I get confused with the CSR CCV bit and all that and its really a hassle to make an AlertPay account. And for me Paypal has no transaction fees O_O, it just converts and sends the money. I dont find it to have any interest rates. Sadly, I will not be donating due to the problem of registering with Alertpay. Maybe you guys could just say payments are non refundable or something or having a TOS for your donations so theres no hassle when the money gets through. I would really love Paypal back. I've got funds in my Paypal account ready to be used then I found out we had to use AlertPay I was like, ah shit.

Paypal was removed since the server ended up losing a lot of funds because Paypal closed the account without reason. It is extremely unlikely Paypal will ever be available here again because of this. The administration is looking for other donation methods, but for now make due with what is available.
