Vote Coupons Tradeable?

I think it could help server, and people who starts playing actually, but it could ruin economy a bit, so I wanna see your opinions.

If they make it trade-able, I think it would help the new people to start off to be honest. They can get the stat add auras and the useful helms to be at least a little more able than if they don't have the gears. Most if not all of the vote items are head gears anyway. Which means they still have to find ways to get their forsaken sets and all. I think it would be a good idea just to help the new people to start off.

That would make it far too easy to abuse it. People can just create many accounts, vote on all of them (or rather, just click the links and not even enter the code so it isn't actually voting) and then trade the coupons to their main account. It's bad enough as it as now with how people don't take the extra couple of seconds to actually make the vote count. This just really would not be a good idea at all.

This would be good but I'm sure it can't be accepted? There are reasons why they can't be traded in the first place and you've all said a few.

Well I'm pretty sure there is possibility to block Ip, I mean everyone can vote once for one account within 12 hours.

It's not difficult to change your IP even if it were possible to restrict IPs. Even if everyone can only vote once, they could still change their IP and do it on many accounts then trade over the coupons, unfortunately. I don't know if there is a way around that.

Would ruin the point of having good vote items, if vote qpons became tradeable then the quality of vote items would drop to that of event items.

(We should have some new event items btw something really good but expensive worth taking time to get) :P

According to what nines said, I think most people are voting to get scarfs so maybe add them as event reward?

I normally try to give new suggestions time to be discussed but I'm just going to reject this now. There is no way we can prevent this from being abused other than to make it so they are account bound. Making them tradable just isn't an option.

If you guys want new event items, make a topic specifically for that and give us specific suggestions of what you think would be a "good" event item. We'll be more than happy to discuss it and take your ideas into consideration. (:
