Kittie Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 I think the reason people wanted an increase in Coma effect was because it applied to the "Edge" sword. This sword had no slots, relatively low attack, and wasn't a spear. I guess the suggestion was accepted but slightly altered, since this Coma buff appeared on a spear weapon designed for high damage output via spiral pierce. I think this higher Coma chance should not belong on a weapon like this, since the damage is high enough to just spam until the other player mis-ygg's. If you're going to make a Coma weapon for Lord Knights, it should be something they can use to JUST coma, not be a versatile weapon where you can go the high damage route, or melee til coma. tl;dr, the high strength of the Lord Knight Spear does not justify the added Coma effect.
