n i k k o Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 They should make it so If you win they check IP Logs cause i have heard that recently some ladder players who won have like multipul people ladder for them Like when on person gets off another logs on and keeps laddering.
nines Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 I don't think that's actually a rule forbidding that.
Adamxd Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 Yea some people do ladder together and what's wrong with this? Make friends and do it in same way
Phenomenon Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 I don't know how this could possibly be illegal.. it's just smart to have someone else PvP for you while you're away. As long as it's legit, let it be.
Ethereal Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 I don't think this is really necessary. You can't really control who goes-on-who's account if they've given their information to their friends. Also if you think about it, how can you really tell the difference between someone who has logged on someone's account to ladder for them and someone who has logged on someone's account to borrow or check up on something? I don't think IP checking can help much in this case.
Veracity Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 There is no rule against this and I think it would be too hard to enforce, though I don't agree with the idea of multiple people laddering on one account. :/ I don't believe that that practice is too rampant... if it becomes a problem in the future, maybe we could address this but it would be very time consuming and difficult for the admins to do on top of all of their other responsibilities. - Rejected -
