nines Posted July 25, 2010 Report Posted July 25, 2010 Its simple work but the way you used the shapes / brushes makes it look really good, I'd say try smaller stuff though its not much of a challenge to work on big sized stuff (not saying in a bad way just wanna see what you could do with smaller sizes :P)

The presentation overall is so tranquil- it just gives off a simply calming feeling. The effects are well done and they definitely enhance the feeling of the image. But as you know, there's always room for improvement! ♥ I think one of my main concerns with the image is the text. I personally don't find "Colour Yourself" the fitting phrase for the image. If you were to use colour yourself as the phrase- I think you should've used a wider ranger of colours. (Although, that's my personal opinion.) Also the left side of the render is well done. But that outline kind of bugs me- I think it would've looked better if it blended into the background more. From my imagination, I think it would've looked better if you possibly erased the outline on the shoes and possibly a little bit on the hand to make it have like a fading effect to blend into the background better. Or change a little bit of the colours on the backgorund to match with the back of it. Once again, I love it. It's beautiful. :) You still got your touch Pat! ILU<3

That's exactly what I was planning to change. & About the text, I was going to reverse the splatter effect if y'no what I mean. Like... mirror it with a clipping mask. & yeah the edges bug me as well, lol.
