I like the kid that played Ang and the kid that played Zuko... my favorite actor was by far the Uncle though... the rest were pretty crap I agree... especially the little girl... The graphics that went into the bending could have been better, especially after seeing things like Avatar... The jumps in the storyline were kinda needed... it's a long story and they're probably shooting for 3 movies total... (they still weren't done too well though, I agree). One thing that I really did admire is the choreography... and they stayed relatively true to the cartoon. All in all they leave a lot of room for improvement in the next movie... 1. Upgrade your graphics/visuals. 2. Get that little girl some acting lessons

As I said: It's not a "good" movie... but it entertained me... Probably wasn't worth the $23 I paid for me and my date to see it in 3D. I'll probably see the next one, but I won't be paying $23 for it for sure. Off-topic: Renegade's job is to make sure we stick by the guidelines / rules of the forums, not being mean. And if you ask me, he's doing a good job.
Muffin Master Posted July 15, 2010 Report Posted July 15, 2010 I honestly thought the whole movie was bad. The only thing I liked was the fight scene with the Blue Spirit. My friend and I were wondering what happened to Zhao's huge side burns and Ozai's long hair + beard. Really th only thing's the got "right" where the names ( pronounced weirdly) and the places (but not all of them were very spot on with the events happening).... I just didn't like the movie at all. But that's just me. I'm a huge fan of the cartoon, so I was let down. u__u

Usually people are huge fans of original works (Cartoons/Animes/Books/Mangas/Comics) are disappointed in their movie adaptations... with a few exceptions of course.

I thought it was be the whole movie.. I don't want to watch it now LOL, if it was the whole 3 books, even the trailer wouldn't look good.
