Adamxd Posted May 7, 2010 Report Posted May 7, 2010 I noticed that always same people are suggesting sth and they mainly decide about changes. Do we have democracy ? Maybe some people dont want any changes. So I suggest if any suggestion is going to be accepted It MuSt have at least 30 votes for. What do you think? It would be fair and more people would decide about server's future.
Veggie&Mac Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 30 votes?? is not a democracy!!! maybe half server+1 of votes is! but i agree, but all time we are the same people voting and discussing about suggestions (10-20 guys... no more)
Adum* Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Make it an uneven number. >: you're going to have a problem when its even. And whenever they do a vote, make them put up a valid argument if why they vote for that certain suggestion. yah?
Groxy Drank Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 hm u should notice that not all the players in game are registered and active on forums, so there is ppl that will disagree with some accepted suggestion because we all got a different point of view. So i don't think that might be the best way to change how its now plus if u check the accepted suggestion section you'll notice that there are accepted suggestion that maybe doesn't even get to 15 reply or comments.
Adum* Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Thats why we force them to register. Dedicated players should register and at least try to be active both in-game and in forum. I mean, just for them to know whats going on and for them to voice out whatever they want.
Adamxd Posted May 8, 2010 Author Report Posted May 8, 2010 (edited) Yea Groxy we have different point of View thats why if suggestion is accepted someone can say: its unfair i dont want it. But if it would be accepted by majority then you have to feel fine with it. I suggest 51 votes for. Or one week voting and 66% of total votes must be for. Number of Total votes must be higher than let's say 40. Edited May 8, 2010 by Adamxd
Poringly Posted May 8, 2010 Report Posted May 8, 2010 Thats why we force them to register. Force them is a bit harsh , but i agree w/ it ;3 And yeah ,, I think the one who suppose to accept/reject the suggestion is the GM's and ppl comment is to make the other ppl know its agreed/cancelled. Is it? o-o;
Adum* Posted May 10, 2010 Report Posted May 10, 2010 Nope. How do you think we can get the server's output about suggestions then? in-game?
Veracity Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 As Rangdyrok said, not all of our players are registered on the forums. We do take into consideration how many people are in favor of or opposed to a suggestion, but I think putting a number requirement is a bit arbitrary. Especially since not all of the people who are on the forums will voice their opinions about suggestions. Ultimately, it is up the staff's best judgment whether or not to accept a suggestion. - Rejected -
