I think the spawn rates for mvps should be increased (especially since there are more people on the server) by maybe like half. The reasons are simple. Its pretty hard to find an mvp (ive never even seen a kiel, phreeoni, ive only seen one tao, no tgs, no incas, and very few other mvps. Also, the drop rates are kinda low too (well for a higher rate server anyways). Well they would be ok if there were more mvps. Another thing is nobody donates for the cards (that would be 250 qpons so its pointless since you can buy em for like 35-40 dqpons) Also it is kinda hard to kill them anyways without some kind of gear. So i think it would be nice if they were increased. Ex. = mvp spawns 10~140 minutes it could be 5~70 minutes :thumbsup_anim: then we could all have a chance at some cards. Downside would be that the cards might lower in price. But i think it would be worth it. Edited April 7, 2010 by Soop

Increase the spawn times and those who do have full MVP gear will come back to them more, if you can't really kill the MVPs fast then you're just giving them more cards. Drop rate is fine, 10% is high enough.

Soop Posted April 8, 2010 Author Report Posted April 8, 2010 well wont they eventually go down more as more people get extras? i think it would be nice especially for newer players if the prices dropped (not by a lot but maybe if they were 15 avg.) At the same time i guess you are right if the rates increase then more fully geared guys with alot of cards would hunt more. Also if it were to really screw the eco as a whole (if all the prices dropped) that would be bad. But i think the best i could do (i play at work so it averages at 25 hours or less a week.) was make a elite lk set which could sell for over 80 total dqpons (selling the weps separately) in like 2 weeks and that was with help. Maybe other people can do better but its either that or farm stuff. Anyways how exactly do you spawn your own mvps i think i saw that mentioned. And if its bloody branchees then cant you only get them from events? I neverwin events :crying_anim02:
Icon Posted April 8, 2010 Report Posted April 8, 2010 it's a prof skill called hocus-pocus, does random skills/spells, eventually you get one of these ???? that skill has a 20% chance to transform any mob into an MVP... don't level it passed 8 .. i've found that 8 is better than 10 for MVP'ing :ph34r_anim: but don't tell anyone .. it'll be our secret :ph34r_anim:

When i donated i went to the npc to buy my king gear which was 100 qpons each, even though (didnt realize it at the time) i could have gotten them for 90 or so each. My point is that the cards prices really should drop anyways cause something like king equips , which u cant loot or make, are cheaper in the game tahn they are to donate for, as opposed to cards, which you can loot. So something which is obtainable by just killing a monster should be cheaper than its donation price anyways. I could understand if a card sold for 20 - 15 qpons. And who really donates for cards anyways? Also you would think that king gear would be more like 110 qpons since at some point somebody had to pay money for it, and you cant make them in the game. I think the eco is already screwy and that with cheaper cards it would also give alot of the newer players a higher chance to get a few decent cards. Half the reason i quit last time is because of how hard it is to obtain a card. Anyways if card prices dont drop or mvps dont respawn more ima donate for alot of cards next time and just sell them all cause obviously i can make more dqpons than what i paid for. Wish Posted May 17, 2010 Report Posted May 17, 2010 Honestly, I think the spawn rate is fine as is. No matter what the spawn rate is, you'll have people who camp and hoard MvP cards, which wouldn't be productive to much of anything. - Rejected -
