Okay and let me make this clear again, this is not a photo-manipulation contest or a drawing contest or whatever. This is a SIGNATURE of the week contest. I believe people are free to do whatever they want for signatures. If you want your own photo-manipulation contest or drawing contest, go talk to an administrator and organize it yourself. If entries that involve taking renders and adding effects/colours doesn't please you, then keep it to yourself. I'm sick and tired of these wars over voting in the SOTW.

I do admit that I do make mistakes with not closing & opening topics as well as not voting on time and I do accept the fact that I do forget at times. But sometimes I'm unable to post topics & close on time because of my internet. My internet has been really buggy/screwed-up/inconsistent the past few weeks, and I'm unable to fix it until the next morning when I can call my friend over to fix it for me. I'm not a "tech-person" or knowledgeable on how to fix it, so I can't fix it until the next morning. Also there's the fact that I do go out a lot. At times I'm unable to even make it because I always arrive late. And that goes to the fact that even if I'm not on, the other judges or even GM's could even post the topics themselves. I'm perfectly fine with that. And here's a little something for everybody: Making artwork isn't all about making everything from scratch. People get inspiration from something and then you expand on that and put it into use. The artwork that you create isn't COMPLETELY yours, considering that everything is based on something else. That is, unless you bust out some wacko-shape that none of us have seen before, then yes, go ahead. - Erin *** I just re-phrased it so it sounds a whole lot nicer. If you want what she REALLY said, then I'll post it. And here's a little something else: honestly, I'm personally tired of you creating drama Emy. I personally don't see what you said has any relevance to the argument. You can criticize peoples' work, but let it be constructive criticism. But from what I've been getting, you've been insulting them indirectly. Now I'm going to end this argument. I'm not going to bother continuing with this argument. But I will say this, if you do cause any more drama in the SOTW, you're simply going to be banned from the SOTW.

Skyerine: The Basking Shark, and the Whale Shark are both plankton feeders. They have no teeth, and instead open their mouths wide like whales and filter all the plankton and krill that pass through. Therefore, vegetarian sharks are quite possible. The vegetables are cute though. no1: yours is the most appealing in terms of colors and composition, but that's hardly what the week's theme was about; Humans can fly above the clouds with gliders, and even go into the upper atmosphere with special plains. And since you're demonstrating a skateboarder that is in mid-air, you're sorting of proving your own signature wrong. Terroryst: The best thing about yoru siggy imo is the message. I'm a big fan of super-heroes, and it's a heart wrenching thing when you become attached to a character so much you feel their pain, and the pain of not being abld to save the very things you love is terrible. Again, though, taking some pictures, sticking them together, and playing around with the colors/effects without actually changing anything on the stocks isn't that impressive for me. I vote for Tee-Chan: Flawlessly executed ;) Here I was expecting all these cool sigs from everyone about how such-and-such wasn't possible, and the first thing I see is his; I was decently blown away, and out of all the signatures in this competition I've ever seen this one got me to think the most. In fact I'm not sure whether or not to agree with it. I would like to believe that humans can evolve to do anything, and by the same token it's perhaps a bit foolish to wish it were so. I know there was no real work involved here, but it really mind-fucked me, what can I say xD 1. Thank you the animation is kool. The message? I wasn't aware that a signature needed a message, the theme is impossible do you think being a undead lightning bearing mage is possible? And the point of it? Well I wanted a siggy that kept a game theme and the undead mage is from world of warcraft, and I added the animation to keep it a bad ass siggy that people would still use instead of just use for a sotw. 2. Your judging on skyreins logic is logic, the theme is impossible and in her siggy it is a shark using a spoon and a knife that is eating a eggplant, tomato, and a carrot that are afraid to be eatn. Plus this things wearing a bib!!. That is impossible it keeps in theme and its a funny siggy that youd probably see some hippie use or some shit. 3. Well things I gotta say, if you go to the second page of sotw entry page for this week, his render is basically the whole thing....all he did was blank out the board and add a font to it. and its a snowboard not a skate board thats shawn white and yes this crazy ass does fly even though its only for like 10 seconds worth of flying he does do it. So that makes it out of theme. And your rant on how humans can fly, yes they can fly with the use of a glider or a plane but just a flying person? and in this picture it kinda looks like a person but u can clearly tell its a snowboarder, is impossible. So 50/50 this siggy is confusing and makes sense. But also like no work was put in. 4. He did change the stock he changed the color of it, if you actually go and look at his c4d and his render. And the whole purpose of making signatures is to use a render and a c4d, try planetrenders.net you'll see that clearly. But I like this siggy its got good colors and a nice background to fit with it. 5. Well if you look at your comments at all the other siggys and put them together and compare to this tee-chans, you can clearly see this is favoring some one and I do know for a fact that tee-chan is a close friend of yours.

The only place I have been posting with 'Emy' is here, and the only real drama I helped to create was in the last SOTW I participated in. In which, if you recall, there was heavy criticism on my signature and nothing was said by you (didn't expect it), therefore I don't see why my criticism is sudden so awful. You can vote when you make the voting topic, your internet seems to work fine then. And when you're not on, but I see another judge browsing the forums and the SOTW isn't taken care of, what am I supposed to think? It's not the GM's job, but they've done it in the past because sometimes that's just how it is; people pick up each other's pieces. That does not equate to doing your job for you. I hadn't meant to insult Jay or anything, and he was the first one out the door with a smartass comment. So if your next step is to threaten me with an SOTW ban I certainly can't stop you, we both know why we don't like each other, revenge would not be surprising. 5. Now, if people did true photoshop manipulation to change the stocks significantly that would be more impressive. So you vote for a signature that makes no attempt to modify a stock or even place a stock in there? That sounds real nice. I'm pretty sure this is a competition with "graphics" not messages given flat out through text, without any gfx to even back it up. If you read your explanation for jay's and tee's you'll see that they're completely contradictory. Simplicity is one thing, but this is not even graphics. Go make a message of the week or something. btw, no , no, no, offense at all tee-chan.

It's a good suggestion since all these ~comments~ keep coming up. It might be better if it is enforced from now on although it will take away from constructive criticism. Where "Nothing is Impossible" that's pretty much the right sig: Nothing. Everyone else's drawings are really great though. Tee-chan's was just the right one.

Because Tee-Chan's message is true in some cases that Human alone could and can do anything in this World, That, Nothing Is Impossible. But In Jay's Entry is more of a reality check. If the fictional Superhero could not even save the one he loves so much. No matter how much we try to manipulate or change the story, it is still a true fact that you really can't save everyone in the Real World. So I would vote for Jay's Entry.

All were presented in different ways but this one attracted me the most. It conveys the theme effectively as one cannot possibly be able to keep EVERYONE safe at all times. Losing one's most loved person is definitely unavoidable. I feel that the emotion was conveyed well using the effects and the color chosen.
