valkyrie Posted March 4, 2010 Report Posted March 4, 2010 25% would be good as a reflect but to make SGW to 15% is a bit too much.. just like for asura, you have 80% redux and you get 250Kish or higher damage from full asura, add an SGW with 10% redux to make it 90% then boom.. asura will only do 125 -150k damage it's just a suggestion so please don't get mad at me...(especially SGW users).. hehe... :stun:

Reduction is great and all, but its uses are pretty straightforward and more defensive in nature. Plus, if we were to say SGW and RAWs should be the same prices since they're both ladder prizes, then the mythological green wings and ice wings would be the same price too. But there's a difference. Anyways, I still think 10% is too low even for a voting reward. I stick with 25% for RAW, and 15% for the vote-RAW. To offset the SGW/RAW value difference, just make the vote-RAW 50% more coupons than the Fluffy Wing value.

If people want SGW to have the same reducts as RAW's reflect, it means that the 100% reduction will happen again. Voting RAW should do like 15%.

They changed RAW because people were complaining the effect didn't match the description. Someone on the higher end of the authority spectrum must have intended RAWs to give 30% reflect, otherwise the preliminary coding wouldn't have enabled it to give 30%. They must have redecided on 10% reflect since that's what the description says. tl;dr: They made the RAWs down to 10% since people wanted the % to match what the item description said. I agree that there wasn't any reason to downgrade the reflect percentage - in my opinion, it wasn't overpowered, there's ways to overcome it and there's ways to use it effectively without being a 150% reflect paladin. They should have just altered the description to say 30% so people wouldn't be "OMG ITS BUGGED". And, I'm still for 10% SGW 10% Fluffy 25% RAW 15% Vote-RAW

If it's 20%/15% then there's not much difference, and "to be fair" with people who ladder they HAVE to make to make the vote wings have less effect. 10%'s useless. Just saying. 25% / 15%. That's compromise.
