iKazuma Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 (edited) I just came to this server, and I was just looking around the main website and I came across the donates. What I noticed was that the staff didn't quite specify if the donates had slots or not, so I asked a GM in-game for help, and she basically did, so thanks to her. My suggestion is for you guys to add if the donates have a slot or not, right next to them, so people could know. Thanks, also, I know this isn't the place for questions, but how do the donation coupons work? Didn't quite understand when the GM attempted to explain it to me. Edited February 20, 2010 by iKazuma
Anarii Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 Donation coupons can be exchanged for any part of the Forsaken Set ( 100 coupons each ) through a special NPC in-game. That's the base of the economy, but it is recommended to buy these items off of other players as they will usually sell it cheaper.
Devotion Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 We have Donation coupons and Event coupons. Donation coupons are more abundant, and that is our currency. Some people use zeny, but since 1 donation ticket costs 20 million zeny in our current economy, most of the major items would take billions of zeny to buy. Our economy is controlled by the players by the way. So prices constantly change according to supply and demand.
Kittie Posted February 21, 2010 Report Posted February 21, 2010 (edited) A quick way to check what general prices are in donation coupons, are to just use the broadcast NPC and broadcast something along the lines of "PC on ______" Obviously fill in the blank with whatever you're inquiring about, and PC stands for "Price Check". It's a good way to know how many coupons you need to get in order to buy what you're looking for in game. A lot of people farm items to trade for donation coupons too, such as yggdrasil berries. I think it's like 3 tickets (300 berries) for 1 donation coupons, and they can easily be farmed in for_dun - accessible only with a dungeon pass (which is donateable now). You could donate for coupons directly or trade valuable items to donation coupons. As for the custom equipment...all the armor items have 2 slots, with shields only having 1. Wings never have slots, and neither do the belts. It would be good if the donation rewards page on the site was more clear about this for newer players. Edited February 21, 2010 by Kittie
Veracity Posted August 4, 2010 Report Posted August 4, 2010 It would definitely be a good idea for the website/donation shop to specify how many slots each donation item has, especially for new players. :) - Accepted -
