Hehe I noob i only got 400k hp on my sinx Yeah, they do sacrifice defense for even more offense, that's why I suggested that we lower Champs' SP cap. Sinx's also carry a shitload of berries, maybe even on par with LKs. They also hit much faster and can cloak, which stops the enemy from hitting them and lets the SinX get the first hit in since you can't spam Magnum Break. Tbh Jay i can only hold 160ish on my Sinx... and Sight ftw! I say fk it let's nerf it then ;] Edited February 15, 2010 by icy

Champs asura can be spammed and along with snap+Tss and Palm push they are pretty good at not getting hit. Coma doesn't work that good ever since the nerf, really only reason sinx hit that much is because of the Irish hat Scarf combo on full str the damage is insane.
Cirrus Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 Doing 16k on shielded people requires a full STR SinX, I seldom take that much damage fighting a 1h SinX and I'm using Usakoring. Also a direct nerf on the skill would affect other aspects of SinX, for one thinking of the new MVPers who use a critical SinX and using EDP, breaking the Emperium, so on. I'm wracking my mind for another way to lessen damage (if it really is needed... I dunno.) Plays on mastery, size/weapon penalties, but I just can't think of anything plausible just yet.
Empyrean Posted February 15, 2010 Report Posted February 15, 2010 I think you guys misunderstood Sensation. val3 = 50*(val1+1); - val3 is the total damage increase. - 50 is the default damage modifier. - val1 is the value for skill level - 1 is a default value for EDP, can't really explain it. So the damage at the moment should be: 50 * (5+1) = 50 * 6 = 300% The damage increment is 300%. So 300% + the normal 100% damage = 400%. What you should be suggesting is to change the formula to val3 = 50*(val1-1); which would result in a damage boost of 200%; therefore 300% damage overall.

Devotion, I didn't mean for it to be 300% only for DD, I meant the EDP formula to be changed to 300% overall. Leave the weapons 4-slotted, just change the EDP. That's exactly what I'm saying. The only reason sinx hit so hard is because they either have thanatos or they risk DD (or both). So if I accept this It'll affect single dagger users too, and I'm not sure that's fair.
