Questions To The Judges

Alright, done. I looked at permissions for the Graphics Mods, and I'm still not 100% sure why you can't move topics. I'll keep messing with it a little while later. I have class and stuff tonight, so sorry for the delay.

I think it's because moving topics has impact on the whole forum instead of only the graphic sub-forums. E.g. you could move a topic from Originality to say... Suggestions.

& Thanks for your time!

I'm not sure why the topics were moved... o__O; I think it would've been perfectly fine if they were just left there. The Winners' topics I don't mind being moved to Hall of Fame, but other players can't see the Dead SOTW Archive (I think)... and it kind of makes the SOTW forum look REALLY empty now that all the previous topics are moved. <_<;

And as for the ability to see the GM Forums- I'm fine with it. I understand that it's strictly for GM's, so what's done is done. What I'm not satisfied with is the fact that I should have been told this before-hand. It kind of feels unfair that my account is being edited without even talking to me about it because I have no idea what the fork was going on.

Oh and P.S. I've been asking a few people around that I know, and they probably said they only saw someone promote the SOTW once.

Ok, well, if you want to move them back out, or want me to, I have no problem with that.

It was the permissions set. You were and are working on the moderator set, and that whole set was changed. We hired another mod, and may hire others in the future to help out. So yeah.

I know that we've promoted it more times than that. I'll bump the topic about it.

No, no, I know, I mean I'll bump the topic in the GM forum about promoting it in-game.

Like I said, I don't know how Ami could have lost your trust. I mean I didn't do anything either but I just don't like you and you know that. We've had quite some trouble & I understand & agree that I've been taken away these rights.

Oh and yes, I would like to hear the full answer to my question, please.

Since you asked for it. In answering how Ami could have lost my trust? Try, recalling a player into Guild Hideout for buffs. More than once. Then there was this other time where Leni found out right away exactly what I'd posted in the GM forums about not provoking her. Needless to say I can see who's in our forums. Not to mention the reports I and other GM's received about Ami revealing stuff from GM forums in game (I will say though, I have not seen proof of this, but there were enough reports to make me go hmm). I didn't know how to create a new permission to separate mods then, but Wish knows how and she, Genesis, and I all agreed to it.

Also, I'm not sure how we started disliking each other. Remember that fuck up you had on Blueberry by posting someone's IP in public as a threat, causing Genesis to remove mod from that account and then later getting you Empyrean? I defended you back then, said you should get another chance, but now I truly can't see why. I also can't pinpoint where we went wrong.

And as for the ability to see the GM Forums- I'm fine with it. I understand that it's strictly for GM's, so what's done is done. What I'm not satisfied with is the fact that I should have been told this before-hand. Oh and P.S. I've been asking a few people around that I know, and they probably said they only saw someone promote the SOTW once.

I did it three times, I saw some GM's do it twice. It's getting done dw.

I know you asked me not to tell anyone about what happened on your GM, but I truly didn't feel like circumventing this discussion. What's unfair is what you did, for at least the one thing I have solid unequivocal proof of, and therefore wouldn't it make sense that we not discuss it beforehand with you?

So apart from all that stuff, shouldn't the Dead SOTW archive be opened for everybody to see? I mean it's just looking at past SOTWs, and it was kind of made to put all the SOTWs(that weren't happening in the same week) to go in right?

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure on how to do that, so that'd be something to take to Sensation, probably.

No, no, just keep it there. I'd prefer it if all the SOTW's of this year were just kept in that section.

Oh and I wanted to discuss something else: changing the voting system. The change I have in mind is something that most of you should have seen already. It involves voting for your top three signatures that you like, and then the artist gets points from the vote.

Example:

My votes go toward to:

  • 1st Place - Artist #1 (3 Points)
  • 2nd Place - Artist #2 (2 Points)
  • 3rd Place - Artist #3 (1 Point)

As for the judges, the points could be doubled. I found some other problems with this but now I just totally forgot. If I think of it, I'll edit the post.

But anyways, the main reason I want to do this is to give every artist a chance to win and to earn points.

I think it'd be cleaner if only the current SOTWs were in the section. It doesn't take too much energy to click the Dead SOTW Archive and see who participated and whatnot. As for the voting system, there might be a rise in bribery. Say person A gets voted as first 3 times for a total of 9, and person B gets voted 3 times as second for a total of 6. Person A can then get voted for 3 times as second, and person B could get voted for 3 times as first, and they'll both come up as first so they both get 50 coupons. I don't know, just a thought.
