Questions To The Judges

There would have to be at least some weeks when you didn't feel as strongly about the theme, or you didn't have time to make a signature. I mean, if you were to decide the themes a few weeks in advance, you could decide if you really wanted to participate in some more than others. Maybe you have a week when all of you really want to make one: feel free. Maybe there's a week when none of you like the subject matter. That's ok, too. Maybe you just don't have any particularly good ideas for some themes. It's not impossible to organize, by any means. And, like you said, Ami, we can give it a trial run. We'll promote it in game and on the forum. You never know how that will go.

Well, we'll see. I hope so, too, because it IS a good event. People in the past have enjoyed it. I always admire the skill and time that go in to the signatures, seeing as I have virtually no talent or ability with that.

Also: I've been extremely goddamn stressed lately (so I've been seriously in a bad mood). So I'll be requiring all assistance possible (eg. deciding a theme) and possibly asking all the GMs if they want to take turns being judges (maybe like have a list of which GM's would judge in order).

You seem pretty happy about mythology. Save yourselves some stress and go with that for now or pick whatever you like. Should SOTW be well organized you'll have the chance to do every topic we've listed anyways.

So Jay you still want your title removed?

So Mythologie it is?

Off-topic; Lucky you I really like having a teal name. Otherwise I'd have resigned from my position as judge, already. );

Mythology it is; and like Devotion previously mentioned in the other topic, we should narrow it down to a specific type of mythology. So, I'm guessing something like Greek, Roman, Chinese, Aztec, etc.?

And P.S. thank god I chose that colour for your title Pat!

Life's not real without some battle scars, bumps ad ego scrapes. I'm sure you'll find that if you stick with it, instead of running at the first sign of trouble, you'll deal with it better in the long run and that determination and steely resolve will translate to other areas of your life.

Just spoke to VapoRub/Cassiopeia/Char, and she's made it clear that she will not be a SOTW Judge.

I'm still awaiting a reply from Nyanko. Also, should we get someone to fill in for Char?

Edit: Nyanko agreed to become an SOTW Judge.

That's what I'd suggest. Anyways I still need to contact Genesis about making Nyanko a SOTW Judge since I couldn't contact him yesterday. Plus my global mod powers got removed for who knows why so I can't even hide topics or pin them.

Well, I finally got a chance to talk to Genesis yesterday and he said Nyanko isn't allowed to become a SOTW mod. Is there anything else we could do? We don't have a lot of judges, so it seems kind of empty.

The judging panel, or...? If you want, I think that we could open applications for it...(I'd have to talk to the others about it, but I'll put it to you first to see what you'd want). Also, I think we were confused I think we thought that only the judges would be judging, but that's not the case. (obviously). However, the amount of people who participated was nice. We'll make sure to keep broadcasting in game.

Well, Pat, Ami, and I don't really need the coupons for anything. So if we get another judge that has just joined but is GFX qualified, or somebody that already plays that is qualified, they are vulnerable to being persuaded into voting for someone's sig.

Well, whatever you guys want. I was just throwing it on the table for you, if you wanted to think about it. :)

Is it possible to give me the power to move topics to another section? Or if you guys wouldn't mind, moving the threads to their correct places.

Posted

That would, indeed be very helpful.

ETA: Why the heck did you remove our mods' ability to view the GM forums? At least give it back to Ami so we can get in touch with the other GMs about jumping in as a guest judge. She's been able to access them ever since, I don't see a reason how she could have lost your trust, whatsoever.

I don't believe you'd want the real answer to your question written here. Half the answer is that we don't need people with access to GM forums informing players of the latest gossip, so we've limited it to GM's only. There are no topics in there of professional interest to a moderator.

There is a member search option where you can bring up all the GM's at once. You have the ability to see online GM's at the bottom of the forums.

As far as I know, you guys SHOULD be able to move topics. Not quite sure why you can't. I'll look at it again and see. Until we figure it out, we can move the topics for you.

Like I said, I don't know how Ami could have lost your trust. I mean I didn't do anything either but I just don't like you and you know that. We've had quite some trouble & I understand & agree that I've been taken away these rights.

Oh and yes, I would like to hear the full answer to my question, please.

ETA: Wish; Thank you!
