plotus2 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 Shall Mental Strength skill be removed from one of the possibilities of Hocus Pocus outcome? Shall Energy Coat be undispellable? Prof class are overpowered when this skill (which largely helps them in reducing damage) is dispelled. Please discuss.
Josef Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 Wait, I don't get it. Make Energy Coat undispellable, yet you say that Professors are overpowered when it is dispelled? Sry I nub. on a side note: oh hey topic say regarding professor! may i add something? ;OOO Revert back fiber lock to what it was before.. Before (many months agoooo) Champs can't snap out of Fiber lock Now They can snap out of it. Yeah it has been like this for a couple of months now, but i unno.
Ethereal Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 I don't think Mental Strength is that much of a problem. Yes, it's annoying but it doesn't affect the professor class greatly. It seems like this was only suggested so that Hocus Pocus would go more smoothly. I'd say yes to the idea, but in the end, it wouldn't make a big difference. Energy coat is fine the way it is. It can be easily dispelled just by simply hitting the user, reducing their SP to 0 (or a little above); thus, their energy coat is gone. Or are you asking to remove the factor that if they are hit their SP goes down and allowing their Energy Coat to stay permanently until the time duration runs out? It does seem like an appealing idea, but I'm currently unsure. One more thing: Prof class are overpowered when this skill (which largely helps them in reducing damage) is dispelled. To be honest, I'm quite confused with this question. Are you trying to say that professors are overpowered when Energy Coat is dispelled? I'm pretty sure they receive more damage when Energy Coat is dispelled, making them a little less under-powered.

Em, no offense but I think there's a difference between "...are overpowered" and "...are overpowering." Well, English is not my first language. Sorry if I confused you. Or are you asking to remove the factor that if they are hit their SP goes down and allowing their Energy Coat to stay permanently until the time duration runs out? It does not come from me, but yeah, that would be awesome. Edited December 27, 2009 by plotus2
Ethereal Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 I think you mean underpower. I think so as well, it didn't really make much sense before.
Rune Posted December 28, 2009 Report Posted December 28, 2009 This is what happens when everyone can dispell, professors getting killed by their own skill? Such irony. And I think he means "Prof class are overpowered by others when this skill (which largely helps them in reducing damage) is dispelled" meaning their performance falls drasticaly as soon as they're dispelled. But, the skill starts loosing porpouse if buffs keep getting impervious to it.
