blueapples Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 (edited) depends on the monster you're fighting. taken off the iro forum (which i play): "# Abysmal Knight Card: This is pretty much the grand daddy of all weapon cards, allowing the user to deal 25% extra damage to ALL boss class monsters. Unfortunately, the chances of actually obtaining this card are pretty rare, and the are EXTREEMLY expensive from player vends. However, it never hurt to set high goals and work towards them :P # +20% Damage to [race] Card: There are a ton of cards in the game that all deal an additional 20% damage to a particular race of monster. These cards are all the same, except of course for the race at which they're targeted. Depending on the monsters you're hunting you'll want different varieties of these cards. Here is a list of these cards below and which race they deal 20% extra damage to: * Caramel Card: Insect Monsters * Strouf Card: Demon Monsters * Scorpion Card: Plant Monsters * Peco Peco Egg Card: Formless Monsters * Hydra Card: Demi-Human and Human Monsters * Goblin Card: Brute/Animal Monsters * Flora Card: Fish Monsters * Petite Card: Dragon Monsters # +20% Damage to [Element] Card: These are pretty much the same thing as the +20% damage to race cards, however these apply to the element of monsters instead of their race. Mixing and matching race + element cards is a great way to increase damage against your foes. I'll make another list for you guys here, regarding cards that deal extra damage to monsters based on their elemental alignment: * Drainliar Card: Water element monsters * Kaho Card: Earth element monsters * Vadon Card: Fire element monsters * Mandragora Card: Wind element monsters * Anacondaq Card: Poison element monsters * Orc Skeleton Card: Holy element monsters * Santa Poring Card: Shadow element monsters * Mao Gui Card: Ghost element monsters # Size Cards: Size modifier cards deal +15% damage to a particular size of monster, and add an additional +5 attack to your weapon (which affects all monsters). There are 3 different sizes of monsters, and 3 different corresponding size cards. Mixing and matching size cards with race and/or element damage cards is a GREAT way to increase your damage output while leveling. It's very common to see combinations such [size/Size/Race/Race], [size/Race/Element] etc based on the number of slots a particular weapon has. Here are the size cards below: * Desert Wolf Card: Inflicts 15% extra damage on small size monsters. +5 additional attack power. * Skeleton Worker Card: Inflicts 15% extra damage on medium size monsters. +5 additional attack power. * Minorous Card: Inflicts 15% extra damage on large size monsters. +5 additional attack power. # Status Ailment Cards: These cards have a chance of allowing the user to inflict a given status ailment onto their foes with a given success rate. These cards also usually add a small amount of additional attack power to the weapon as well.I'd recommend sticking with racial element or size cards, however some people enjoy harnessing the power of status ailments to achieve their goals, so I'll list the status effect cards here: * Savage Bebe Card: Stun * Familiar Card: Blind * Metaller Card: Silence * Boa/snake and Zenorc card: Poison * Plankton Card: Sleep * Magnolia Card: Curse * Marina Card: Freeze # Orc Lady Card: Deals +30% more damage to ALL orc type monsters EXCEPT Orc Hero and Orc Lord. # Andre Card: Adds +20 attack power to your weapon. This isn't a bad card, and is fairly easy to hunt considering Andres are weak monsters. However, I'd suggest using a Racial, Element or Size card instead. # Zipper Bear Card: Adds +30 attack power to your weapon at the cost of losing 1 sp each time you attack. This is basically a superior Andre card. You're still better off with racial, elemental, or size cards. " Edited December 10, 2009 by blueapples
UglyDuckling Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Abbysal Knight isn't a rare card.

Cyconsupersonic Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 Dude, this isn't a primary MvP server <_< Also UglyDuckling is right, Abysmal Knight card isnt rare, the only rare cards are some of the MvP cards that like increase demi-human damage. If you're going for PvP I would indeed recommend Daggers. I can assume that you don't have alot of monye so I'll make this a cheap set-up. Probably the best dagger without it being a Forsaken Dagger(upwards 90 coupons) would be the Sandstorm. Skeleton Generals drop them at a 10% rate in gld_dun01, so get 2 of those if you can. (PvP) Dagger 1: Sandstorm with 2 Goldenring cards, 1 Phreeoni Card, 1 Skeleton Worker Card Dagger 2: Sandstorm with 2 Goldenring cards, 1 Skeleton Worker, and 1 Civil Servant.(WARNING!: On the map, these things are called Mao Guai, but they drop Civil Servant cards) Skeleton Workers can be found at mjo_dun03, their everywhere so you should not have a problem finding em. Civil Servant can be found at lou_dun03, their a bit more uncommon, but just keep warping around and you're bound to find one. The only reason I put a Phreeoni card up there is because if you don't have one, it will be much harder hitting people constantly. Right now they cost about 45-50 coupons. If you can't afford it, just put another Civil Servant card in it's place. I hope this helps! Also, if you need help with gears and whatnot, or need a more expensive(but better) set-up, Just PM me in-game, I'll be sure to help you out ^^

I mean yeah it's a good MvP card guide, but this server is basically all about PvP. I mean if you wanna MvP, then yes follow his guide. But if your into PvP, check out the other guide posted on the forums. Edited December 10, 2009 by Cyconsupersonic
rulerofb-ball Posted December 10, 2009 Author Report Posted December 10, 2009 (edited) is sandstorm the desert wind? is there another dagger/katar thats easier to get? Edited December 10, 2009 by rulerofb-ball
Timmeh! Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 for me i use Desert winds or Main gauches if i dont have F daggers XP
rulerofb-ball Posted December 10, 2009 Author Report Posted December 10, 2009 wats the best dagger to use then? with cards
Cyconsupersonic Posted December 10, 2009 Report Posted December 10, 2009 is sandstorm the desert wind? is there another dagger/katar thats easier to get? Yes, the desert wind and the sandstorm are the same thing. and there are easier daggers, but I just prefer the Desert Wind. wat r f dagers? In this server, there is a LOOOONG quest to become "elite". When one becomes elite, they get +200 status points(not stats lol) and they have the ability to stat another, even LOOOONGEEEEERR quest. With that you can get equipment based on the calss you completed with. you can refer to VapoRub's master guide to custom items and search "Forsaken Assassins Cross Dagger" Link to VapoRub's guide
rulerofb-ball Posted December 10, 2009 Author Report Posted December 10, 2009 so is the forsaken cross dagger the best? ummm i got 2 desert winds but i cant equip them y?
Cyconsupersonic Posted December 11, 2009 Report Posted December 11, 2009 The reason you cannot equip them is probably because you either don't meet the level requirement, or maybe the item hasn't been identified yet. If it's the latter, then you can buy an item caled an "Magnifier" and use it on the dagger, then it'll be usable. If it's the level thing, then go level xD
rulerofb-ball Posted December 11, 2009 Author Report Posted December 11, 2009 i'm reborn lvl 255 with 255 job lvl so i think i'm high enough
.Sushi. Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 For a damage card use Turtle General Card since it deals damage to all class. For daggers/katars use those that have 3-4 slots.

.Sushi. Posted December 12, 2009 Report Posted December 12, 2009 The mobs are located inside the forsaken dungeon which could be accessed using a pass or just buy it from vended shops.
