Fixed Casting Skills, Gtb Piercing

the idea is pretty simple, in this server the balance revolves arround the money you have in order to somewhat balance the messed up battle system.

What do I mean by fixed casting?

Exactly what it says, skills wich cast cant be reduced via DEX, however cards such as Beelzebub will work.

And by GTB piercing?

A modified Skill wich uses INT/M atack to calculate damage with Extremely high power outcome.

We have Stave crasher for that you know?

I said EXTREMELY HIGH power outcome, at any rate if you believe so then be my guest, go die hopelesly.

It will become overpowered since you can make it 0 cast with card's

Modifiying the skills would only bring more problems to an already troublesome Idea, adding new skills into a single skill tree isnt exactly the plan either, so the best way would be to make an ACCESORY wich allows the use of said Skills (Yeah... if this is made then it would be recomendable to make many in diferent elements), Withouth 1 Accesory is not posible to obtain instant casting time through cards.

What's the point?

To bring balance to an underpowered class that suffered the damages of the high rate system: Wizards and profesors particulary were meant to be very strong but really time dependant and strategy made, giving them fixed casting STRONG skills would bring back some pvp use for this classes besides gang helpers.

there's no such thing as a balance suggestion, its always based on poster's way of seeing things. I cant count the amount of the so called "balance" thread which all ended being left out.

Ok im a proffesor, and a damn good one at it. Yes I do agree gtb should be nerfd Truthfully I wouldn't care if it was nerfd to 99.9% reduct. Atleast id do some damage and be able to get away or be helpful. The reason in iro the card was made so good was cause you had a better chance of winning the million dollar lottery than getting one. On a mass spread server when everyone has one it makes a huge unbalance in the classes(thank you for people who use maya atleast gives a chance <.<)

No there should not be a kill to bypass gtb for Profs/Wizards. We are good enough as is and I deal with gtb just fine.(though I do bitch about it to them)

And I doubt the people on this server could make a skill like that. And if they could it would take months ><

And you saying to give skills through accesories would be like you still needa make a skill for it, just because its on an accesorie dosn't make it exist instantly. Itd be like putting skill { "SM_BASH",5; } in there itd just give you the skill to use but itd be melee and no bonus dmg with int.

I see what your getting at but. No one here cares about magic users <.< they are all just glad they have gtb because if they didn't yes....we would be over powered to. If gtb was nerfd I would call for a Damage reduction on magic uses. Thats probably because I can do 230k damage by clicking firebolt once lol.

There can't be permanent balance, only temporary. By temporary, I mean the server is actually balanced without the people knowing, and they vote it to be changed, thus making it unbalanced once again. Back when the GTB got nerfed to only magic reduction, that was very well balanced on the magic vs melee part, but people voted it away and look where we are.

You are a reduction profesor if you call being good to hide in what everyone can do and wait for your oponents guard to be down then I have to say you really have a twisted sense of being good :S.

In fact as far as Ive fought you all you do is either reduct and wait for gangs or safety wall+wall of fog until you kill me of boredom.

I did it already on my test server, I admid the guys in this server are hella lazy but If I could why they woulnt be able to?, I tried making myself the third jobs skills back when they just came up in doddler and end up lost as heck on all honesty but I learned enough to do such simple things.

1- Completely Agree

2- See point 3

3- The damage outcome is the result of the low MDEF of the class and most importantly the fact that tao gunka card highly increase the damage resulting from magic, mostly the thing is that magic was made to not be fought by low MDEF classes, in fact Assassin crosses mostly will die in an instant from magic since they do not hold anything but raw power (however in this server seeing an assasin cross getting killed by magic is a sign of unbalance).

GTB will be modified when the time is right, for now no modifications are done.

Same applies to magic 'balancing'.
