gerrard mino Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 im suggesting that WS get a bonus with hit rate to be able to hit MVP's because every other class can do it other than WS. whitsmiths have CT but its less effective than other classes such as sniper/champ/lord knight/bio chemist/even tkm are better. the whitesmith class has been placed as a second wheel class for mvp parties. you want the class system to be balanced but its not. the whitesmith class has drawn the short straw with this and i think that a small boost to the hit for them would make a huge difference. another good suggestion would be with the GS class and SL class because GS need to be nerfed because they are constantly standing at the entrance to a castle and spamming a single skill and with 2x kiel cards they can spam it so fast you cant out ygg it so they need to be nerfed a little bit im not saying that they get a total nerf im just saying that they need to have some downside. and with the SL class i think that high jump should be enabled in castles because they dont have any kind of HP bonus and they realy dont have much def. just some suggestions as well as implimenting an @whodrops command to help make hunting items for quests much easier. just put some stuffs here if you want to comment. (good or bad comments will be helpful)

High Jump was disabled due to castle breaking done within 10 seconds that a castle was taken over, it'll stay disabled for now (can't help it players are unable to find a counter tactic). Gunslingers are fine as they are, they have low health and their damage can be outhealed. Increasing hit for White Smiths would mean they have a huge advantage in PvP, since they won't need Phreeoni card to balance their hit ratio against certain flee classes. There's a phase for some MvPs where they have too high flee for almost any class, magic, breaker and asura will still be able to hit the MvP, most other attacks/skills won't. To MvP effective with a White Smith, you'd need an Ice Pick. most MvPs just have too much def for melee to be that effective.

Sensation Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 The idea itself is a good one for a profit company, but as the GM team is completely without salary or whatsoever, the benefits from actually being "GM of the month" would be none. Further, players would vote for their favourite GM which doesn't automatically mean it's also the most active/hard working one. There's a lot work done behind the scenes that is invisible to 99% of the community.

Class balance doesn't mean every class has to be equally good at everything. Classes have specific purposes, but since players think they should solo everything on a highrate, the lack of cooperation between players for various activities is almost non-existent. There are a few classes out there that are even worse at MVPing than WS, but they have other abilities.

Nucleus Posted September 27, 2009 Report Posted September 27, 2009 Soul Linkers. -> Estun, Estin, Esma should be enabled. Right now they're only used as buff sluts. There's Eske and Eska, but I'm sure there's a way to enable the other ES skills without enabling those.
